Customer states 2009 Pontiac Vibe has VSC and traction control lamp on and speedometer does not work. Codes P0717 P0793..... No fancy tools needed this time. #mechanic #cars
So I finally got around to testing both of these sensors and they both are within spec, unfortunately am still getting po703 and the vsc lights. I tested the terminal its self and got 6.78k ohms. Could that be the issue?
If you test the sensors through the wiring at the control unit you should get close to a normal sensor reading. If you have high resistance through the wiring, but a normal sensor test value this suggests a wiring fault. From my research I found wiring problems under the battery area seem to be common.
Yes and now they’re even worse with all the new cars coming out with digital displays on the cluster, the radio, and the rearview mirror to cook your eyeballs with blue light while you drive. Thanks.
@@DadsGarageDiagnosticSpecialist as an eye doctor... You have nothing to worry about... Except being sold you have to have some filter on your lenses for that. Kinda like... Nitrogen for your car tires.
