@@thechordwizard8429 Neither this nor their second album, Indelibly Stamped, had any chart impact in either the US or the band's native UK. At least their first album did see a US release six months after Even in the Quietest Moments' spring 1977 release (which in turn contained their first top 20 hit, "Give a Little Bit"). It peaked at number 158 on the US Billboard 200.
@@ClassicTVMan1981X I know. They were really lucky to be funded by some guy who was originally Dutch I believe, but he only funded those first two albums and stopped after that, presumably due to the poor reception.
@@thechordwizard8429 Yes, he did bow out after Indelibly Stamped had bombed. When they then hired their new bassist Dougie Thomson in 1972, at first he quit and felt sorry for them, but they asked him back shortly afterward and also became their new business manager.
Wow I do not know where to start. I first heard Crime,Crisis, Quietest and Breakfast as a school child. I first heard this album at age 52. It sounds so much like Gypsy, Genesis, King Crimsom of that time.
Was very happy to find the vinyl at the record store years ago with a nice joint back in the day ☮️. Thought the cover is bizarre and the music inside a masterpiece of sound and lyrics.
@@jlbaker2000 I’m not sure this album was ever released with gatefold sleeve but I may be wrong (all of the discogs copies I’ve looked at don’t seem to say they have gatefold) but still if u found a joint must have been a bonus right 😂
It brings me back to the days of being an innocent lad moving from PA to s Florida in 1980.. I love this track in particular, but Roger and the boys killed it!! ,'have all their work on vinyl.

@@aagot1no From what I've heard both of their first two albums have label/copyright issues in a lot of countries, unfortanely. I got to inherit my dad's vinyl of this one though! My favorite Supertramp album😁

A Banda mudou totalmente o som apartir do Crime Of The Century!, e é apartir dali que eles exploraram repertorio! foi dali em diante que as coisas aconteceram do jeito que eles queriam!. os dois primeiros discos contaram com o importante incentivo finaceiro daquele empresario holandes, que patrocinava a banda, muito por conta do Rick Davies!
Richard Palmer James wrote lyrics for King Crimson during the Larks-Red era. David Gilmour played on Brother Where You Bound, so that one technically had the guitarist's influence.

É não sei porque eles acham que esse disco é uma merda e nunca deram valor as músicas dele.A música SURELY devia ser a música de fim de show , mais infelizmente nunca tocaram.
