Its crazy to think that people were using these teams and still couldn't clear 2 Ruin Graders in the early Abyss Floor 12. This video really puts things into perspective on how much better the OG characters have become with the new artifact sets and weapons. But still, doing 4* only run on this Abyss without relying on Hyperbloom is fckin insane lol.
2 ruin graders? what? abyss 12 was hella difficult in 1.0. first chamber had multiple waves of cryo whooperflowers and big (shielded) cryo slimes, and a debuf that made your stamina not regen. Chamber 2 and 3 had a debuf that spawned a goddamn icicle under you every 10 seconds that did 8k damage if you didn't dodge, and there were really hard fatui dudes combos in both chambers. Monsters were all super spread out too. Venti was extremely op then though, abyss was literally a venti check. you either had him or you did not 36 star people were scrambling with teams that only had one character of their choice built (badly), and the rest filled with a bunch of lvl 40 supports with low level talents. and remember, no one had ANY farm. You didn't get the luxury to pick a team to counter the monster composition, you had to just go with what you had. And there wasn't much exploration to do to get primogems. None of the gadgets we have today either. My first 36 star was in version 1.2 (i think, it was the geo one), when abyss changed for the first time, and i never even came close to failing to 36 star again. abyss 1.0 remains the hardest abyss ever by a wide margin.
Little tip for saving time when using geo mc, holding E on geo traveler is faster; and u can pre-set ur camera to where u want the monument to land (The reason it's faster is tap E summons it from above but hold E summons it from the bottom, leading to a faster animation when holding)
In 5.8 I expect that Xiangling will still be the top Pyro off-field applicator by number of gauges. But the Pyron archon will be the second best off-field applicator, providing other substantial buffs or damage as well. I'd guess Bennett will become the second best pyro buffer.
This is incredibly insightful. I've been playing for almost a year yet still cant clear with 5 stars character. Scrolling a few vid of yours and I finally managed it. Key really lies in proper grouping, ty!!
It will also be stronger if xq uses no and do quads vape basically 1 rotate the pma 1st phase, obviously it isn't necessary as this isn't speedrun video
i just did amber hypercarry, but i used furina (and bennet and mona) to buff and support her. furina is so broken that she allowed amber to pretty much kill the cube in 40ish seconds. that's like not thaaat far from the minimum time possible normally. you generally need good rng to even get to this time.

Does Noelle's ult not have an ICD? It looks like Fischl's A4 is procing with every hit. I never really bothered to check because I always discarded crystalize as a reaction for obvious reasons
Abyss enemy has 2.5 times higher hp than their overworld counterpart so I don't think they will increase the enemy level in abyss, not without hyperbuffing every characters at least
you motivated me to go back for more testing w my heizou's national. I deal abt 51k w Xiangling vaporize, though if I slap on Instructor on Benny I'd hit for 55k and I think abt 59k if I put Nobless on Xingqiu This is some pretty good dmg for such a team. I have c5 XL but c6 Benny
Last abyss speedrun from 4.0 versions.... In terms of Bennett and Xiangling: Pyro(Burning and hopefully Melt) teams are going to have Mavuika (giving her as the only pyro from Natlan announced and being an archon) as a new support/buffer. Xiangling is going to have another support and still being strong, difference though, is Mavuika or another not/yet announce character going to be a pyro applicator who gives Xiangling to finally rest.
