She says she didn't like purple too much, but the purple gowns looked the best on her. Especially the 2nd purple dress she tried on. She made a great choice.

Thank you so much! Your comment made me smile. I haven't always picked the right partner or friends in my lifetime. Ppl definitely took advantage of my big, loving, giving heart, which was passed down by my beautiful mother. But now I am surrounded by a man that truly loves me & I known for 20+yrs (he chased me most of my life loong good story lol) he is my best friend. I have good friends & and a loving family. Not until I started being around the right ppl did I realize how much it was needed for my self-esteem and confidence. Again, thank you for the beautiful words ❤️

So glad she went with the purple . It gives her such a shaply look, and the blue reflections of sequins on the dress are captivating the way they are patterned . I half to say what would have been gramas choice was lovely too .

It's cool that she's vocal about what works and what doesn't. On the other hand, it's also clear she's never really envisioned herself in anything that looks like those dresses. And I'm really done with the "modesty" comments from the usual suspects. It's PROM. Let a teen girl be and feel glamorous one time. You can see she doesn't dress like that all the time. It's really sad how girls bodies are always policed, yet all those calls for modesty STILL doesn't protect them.

I didn’t want to be the only one to say it seemed like she was kinda pushed into making a choice and wasn’t really overly excited about her dress. It bothered me that they kept putting her in purple when she was emphatic she didn’t like it. I also seemed like She wanted her silhouette shown without showing so much skin 🤷🏾‍♀️ idk this 1 was a miss to me.

Everyone knoes purple is my fav color. My mom asked me to wear yellow. I dont regret though. Mom had stage 4 cancer & dressed me aszif my wedding bc she said she wouldn't be around. But im gasping at purple comments and im only on 2nd purple dress. Im looking at each like im midsized 12... ill wear in house. Lol.
