Thanks, glad you like it. The windows are acrylic glass (Plexiglas, Perspex, etc.). I created the stained-glass designs with Photoshop and had them printed onto self-adhesive clear vinyl by a signwriting company. Then I stuck the vinyl onto the acrylic. I printed the designs at a few different densities (by changing the intensity of the colour) and used the ones that looked the most like stained-glass when on the acrylic. As it was such a small area of printing it was not very expensive. I hope that helps.
@@tbiowa9977 if you tint ModPodge with some colored marker (color the marker inside a plastic container then add the glue) you can put the glue on the section of window you want that color, and the glue dries clear leaving the tint but a little textured. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-30YH70731mE.html Some people use nail polish, or model paint, or alcohol markers.
@@tbiowa9977 or the very beginning of this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9nOm_4pcf2I.html Also I saw one person make a Tiffany inspired lamp with clear plastic for the glass, and lace, they colored the lace black for the leading. The pattern was like a bunch of tiny circles like bubbles. Then they put a yellow dot in one circle, red dots around it to make a flower. Made more flowers and some green leaves and it was very convincing. You could make a bunch of grapes too pretty easy that way. Maybe find laser cut paper you like and color that dark, fill in the gaps with color
Thanks Marie. I did consider more period accurate kitchen appliances (a fridge with legs and an evaporator on top, and an AGA stove), but I wanted to make sure they’d be recognisable to the kids using the dollshouse. So I like to think the kitchen was refitted sometime in the 50s.
No, Barbies are too big, I’m afraid. This house is 1:12 scale while Barbies are about 1:6 scale, so they’re about twice the height they should be to fit.
