As far as the lipos, these are 2200 mah Turnigy batteries. You will notice, when it flips and wheelies their is no shell on the vehicle, the rear suspension is too stiff, and it was on rough (high traction) concrete. The lid of the 1/16 summit is actually "heavy" in comparison to the vehicle. Try taking off your lid, firming the suspension up, running monster tires on high grip surfaces and you will find your vehcile will wheelie or flip on a regular basis.
Hello, I added a video on the shock set up here. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xIZUTy2Qc-s.html, basically change your oil often or upgrade to aluminum bodies, the oring seal at the base of the stock seems to leak, aluminum gives you the option to tighten them, that stock bodies do not. Stock caps, shafts are fine. As far as the wobble, the axle carries are worn out when that happens. Again stock is fine, but they need to be replaced often. RPM makes a nice carrier that I use that can be tightened. You can see them in action in this video, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eSKtfjSdHUc.html I recomend them as a nice upgrade if you want the vehicle to track straight.
When I say soften the suspension, I mean to reduce the spring rate. Spin the rings on the rear shocks all the way back to make the spring as long as possible. You can experiment to see the effects. A totally loose spring will not wheelie, it will squat, a very firm spring with increase wheelies. Off road mode benifits from soft suspension that soak up bumps to keep the vehicle tracking straight. If the springs are too firm you will bounce off obstacles, and the car will fly around.
I use the 1/16 slash Rockers it pulls the suspension down just like the tie straps...adjusted the shocks after I installed the slash 1/16 rockers...I use a 3s lipo and so far it's pretty hard to flip and roll over...
My comment is, my dog is stupid. I will post a follow up video. The ultimate is to replace the rear bumper with the slash bumper as a wheelie bar. No more rear flips at all....
