is that mesh on the side fake? I've noticed a lot of corner cutting on the plastic models.

Just got this in my recommendations. This car is SICK. I collect 1:64 scale Hot Wheels, Matchbox, etc. They both make this car and while the detail is nothing on this level obviously, it is one of my top 20 cars. I have a 69 Olds 442 in 1:18 scale. I owned one as a 20 something yr. old. While I'd love to collect these I don't have the room or the $$. I also have Marvel Legends and I USED to collect Star Wars. So space is tough. But damn this is nice.

Only thing about this one in particular is that the body is not made of diecast but of pvc.
