I know this is probably a VERY LATE mention, but you might be surprised the similarity of the Minichamps casting to the one made by Norev. However, build quality wise, the Norev may actually be better. The gull wing doors on virtually all Norev SLS AMG releases seat flush on the body work. Minichamps just look bad for some copies. Also, the Norev's tires sidewall have a nice contour. Minichamps tires have sidewalls as if they are going to burst out of the wheel rim. You can compare it to the real car to see what I mean. Norev is better bang for your buck. Maisto is the more affordable alternative. Minichamps just so happened to have made more exterior color choices as well as interior color combination choices.
+20stevieray the Minichamps isn't $200, it can easily be had for $60. The SLS isn't bad for Costco's $15, but the normal market Premiere Edition is $40, so for $20 more, Minichamps blows it out of the water.
@@davidgore11 No way the Minichamps SLS AMG sold for $60 back then. They were "at least" $100 back then. Unless of course you got them with a discount / promotion. But they are definitely not $60 at MSRP.
