While most low volume production car manufacturers rely on engine components developed and supplied by manufacturers producing in large scale, Koenigsegg is one company that started developing and building everything inhouse. And within a very short span of time, its hypercars have demonstrated ground breaking engineering feat, as well as earned a great amount of fan following for all the right reasons.
The 2014 Koenigsegg One:1 is one ground breaking example. One car that pushes out power to mass at ratio of 1:1, 1360 PS from 1360 kgs. Only 6 units produced, and for such a feat, it is claimed to be one of the first "Megacars" - a term recently coined, positioning them slightly above the acceptable definitions of "hypercars".

This is a legend of a car. Autoart did well in replicating. There are some near misses on the details. But can be ignored considering the presence it creates in the collection.

I usually keep my models closed and prefer coupe over roadster models, no other video gave this car a screen time with roof and closed doors, thanks for that and helping me decide on silver instead of carbon fiber

I purchased the AUTOart Koenigsegg One:1 and I was totally surprised as to how terrible this model is. I own many AUTOart Signature series Models and the new Plastic ones are IMHO just junk. Molded Carbon Fiber every where. Front rear wheels yuck 🤮. Most of the models in my collection are CMC and Exoto and AUTOart Signature. No more plastic for me. LCD is making great models and taking a up where AUTOart left off.

I wont call all the composites junks, but yes i prefer more detailed diecast models. Some of the aston martins and the very recent R34s are looking promising. Saying this, i still do not agree to the pricepoint Autoart demands for the metal alternatives. Autoart started influencing the price hike for the models, and the entire car scale model industry followed the past i feel.

I agree on the sadness of expensive composite combination by Autoart. But what to do for those who missed on Autoart CCX. And what about the SVJ, available in GTS, AA or MR Kengfai, LCD, Exoto are promising brands for now

@@scalemodelofmycar I wish that I was able to find a rare Koenigsegg CCX as well. It's not the composite material that I am so concerned about but how AUTOart is using it. They could still manufacture a model using carbon fiber decals or printing, much like BBR. However this will have an impact on price. I guess that for me I would rather pay a bit more for a quality products.
