watched this review, went on ebay, and bought one for like the exact same price lol. This is an insanely awesome model, Maisto really did an amazing job. The engine detail is so realistic. Every time I see it on my shelf I'm just like wow, how did I only pay like 20 bucks for this. It could definitely pass for an expensive model if you didn't know any better. I have a feeling these older models from Maisto are going to gain value and be worth a lot someday. Anyways thanks to the diecast man for bring this model to my attention, it's quite an amazing model.
If u don't mind asking, have you noticed if one of the rear wheels sticks a little bit out or not? I have one too and want to know if it's just every one of the maisto clk gtrs or just me.
After looking after one for years, yesterday I finally managed to buy of these! It's really special when you wait so much time for something, but yes it was worth it, love the model! The perfect pair for my 911 GT1 996 from UT Models :)
I am happy I also have this great model including 3 racing versions of it all bought when they were new in the 90s. I was always annoyed by the casting marks up front though, a typical Maisto and Bburago weakness.
For anyone who is wondering why maisto detail is getting "worse" which I think it's getting better the reason why they don't have some stuff that the old ones have the new ones replace some of the cool features with sometimes more cooler features also maisto have been getting more popular therefore they have to "cheap out" on some stuff
