awesome model! I want to make a slammed model of my 65 bug. Where did you get the wheels and tires? if you made them, what did you do and what did you use to make them?
hello, no i brought them at: www.modellbau-nowak.de/shop/index.php?XTCsid=f659aceffbdf16baa47bbdb016d3f5a4 great choice + wheels size, you can choose what inch for wheels etc
Hello, I want to start a project on a 1/18 Betlee similar to this, but I don't know how to do anything ahahah I want to ask you: how did you lowered it? Simply removing the suspensions springs?
hi, it is Solido brand. and i didnt take off the suspensions spring, what i did was remove any metal parts under the arch, when the wheels fit it, and i glued the wheels and wheels will be unable to move but it is for display only. have fun customised the diecast, and not try rush, just take time and enjoying it, every diecast are different, some are easy to custom, some are very hard. i find Solido VW beetle are easy to custom with :)
Sam Perkins ok, thank, but I think mine don't have metal parts, except for the body (I haven't bought mine, but it will be Bburago, here in Italy is the best in quality/price). Maybe if I remove the springs and glue the wheels I can lower it. I want some camber on the back wheels, so I think that I will heat up the rear axle a little and I will bend it.
