normally the hardest part of building a sand farm from youtube shorts is deciding where to put the command block, but this one has the super simple workaround of the extremely obvious cut
You know I look at some of these videos and I think it's almost plausible because there used to be bugs like this in Minecraft so it's not entirely out of left field for somebody to try this stuff. I myself was a huge fan of the item frame duplication glitch in Bedrock Edition back before they patched it.
Not sure about Java but on bedrock if you put any gravity block (sand, gravel, concrete powder) on a top of a redstone powered drip leaf (just use a lever) then log off. Log back in and the block will be dup'ed.
Can't believe I actually believed this was a real farm. I guess the only method is using the end portal? Thought I saw a hermitcrafter using a single dimension sand duper though.
The sad thing is that if you were around for 0 tick technology (cactus, bamboo and sugar cane) this seems like it would be perfectly legitimate. Like, yeah that seems about right for 1.15 lmao.
It's funny how kids now day make fake video try to say it's legit. Only way this work is with command block. 100% can tell this kid going to fail at life will do anything for veiw
