Yes he was. I feel that when the show came out most of the audience were teenagers. Brandon was the nice guy, down to earth, more of a brother, protective type. Teenage girls were more impressed by the bad boy type - Dylan. As you mature, your realize you need a nice, responsible guy like Brandon, who also was very cute!
Faisal T No actually, rob is right every girl in that school wants Brandon. Brandon isn't a geek he's what you called "the boy next door" not all hearthrobs are "problematic bad boys". I mean girls wants Dylan too, but that doesn't make Brandon any less desirable.
I'll tell you one think, all the female cast members wanted Jason Priestely (Brandon) in real life. He hooked up with more of them than any other guy in real life lol
@@aaronneville1164 I know right. As a teenager I never thought Dylan was hot. I always thought Brandon and David was hot and maybe Steve. I always thought Dylan was a loser all he had was money.
I really thinki that are girls that like de bad boy, like Dylan, but a lot of girls would like Brandon, and he was not a geek, yes he was more serious, but not a geek, he was a good guy
Brandon was so gorgeous. I think he looks his best in this episode. When kelly & brandon were at the peach pit I thought wow what a perfect looking couple & I loved their chemistry. I waited & hoped they'd finally get together & it took 4 years ! Brandon was crazy to turn kelly down at the dance. If that was real life Brandon would have never as a high school kid turned down kelly & as for steve being his bff omg people dated their friends ex all the time. Brandon acted like kelly was Steve's ex wife . They were broken up for awhile & steve would have gotten over it. His other reason was she was Brenda's bff but like she said dylan was his bff & still dated brenda. I don't know why the writers didnt just hook up kelly & brandon the summer brenda was in paris. Since kelly & brandon confided mostly in brenda it made way more sense they would turn to eachother to talk & bond. Plus kelly was a little less shallow. Brandon was single most of their single year. So it wasnt about them keeping Brandon dating every ep a new girl.
He was crazy to turn down the girl that self-admitted to dating every single guy at not just West Beverly High, but Beverly High too. And dating your best friend's ex that he clearly still had a thing for is a complete scumbag move.
1. Whatever people think of Gabrielle, she was definitely the perfect Andrea at the audition. 2. I love that even at the highest point of her popularity, Kelly would always stand up for Donna 3. Nostalgia ++++❤️
It's nice they are discussing all their problems, it's nice to talk about things and discuss them. You can always reach out to Brandon Walsh to discuss your issues. Brandon is great at it. Andrea is rad btw.
love seeing kelly and brandon as babies and knowing this was the spark that smoldered til season 4. man I had patience lol from this episode I wanted bk. they left us with just a littke flirting here and there for 3 years !! what sux is the song in the background originally was you can't hurry love . ya think the writers were being subtle?
Yup. Maybe they didn't have a better choice, Ian pulls off likeable popular jock very easily. Luke Perry actually auditionned for Steve's part and it still went to Ian.
I like Andrea, she one of mu favorite charaters but i dont think soo, they to much a like, Brandon need someone not soo serious.... that would be boring....
Schmevie Schmevie I glad Brandon decided to go with Kelly, Steve was such a spoilt brat back then even though he never actually dated Kelly on the it was only suggested they to date but he thought he owned Kelly it was the same when Brandon and Kelly started dating 4 years later his 1st question was what about us. Dude build a bridge and get over🐄🐄
Peter Goldsworthy I hear what you are saying but can’t the same be said for Kelly? She thought she had full reign over all the guys in that group. Brandon, Dylan, Steve and little teen David all had to drop at her feet whenever she clicked her fingers. She didn’t give a crap about who she hurt along the way.
@@evas9735 Yeah I know what you mean she was spoilt superficial brat back then and it was good the writer's let her character mature because Brandon and Kelly wouldn't have worked in those early days. Brandon turning her down at the would have been a 1st for her and that secretly made want Brandon more because no guy had ever turned her down🐄🐄
Peter Goldsworthy exactly I love that she wasn’t immediately worshiped by Brandon and her maturity and support won out when she became his date at all the functions with the chancellor. Her character did have the most growth but at the beginning she was a horrible person.
@@evas9735 I don't know about horrible she was a victim of her surroundings but if you watch the clip of when Brenda introduced Brandon to Kelly and Donna I think she had thing for Brandon from the very start if you watch the clip it's very subtle but when Donna says to Brenda your brothers dope you see Kelly lean back slightly to check him out as he walks away.
