In this video i prepare the whole body - add all the parts prior to painting, drill holes for exterior components and screws, also fit the front fenders. As primer i use automotive primer and 2k vhs clearcoat. Base paint are Number 5 mixed colors for this model.
I tried to replicate original paint scheme, so the front grey part is matt, as well as big side decals with "Citroёn" text. Thank you all for visiting this channel!

Look fantastic. You look to be spraying at low pressure. When I use my 0.5mm airbrush at about 30psi it seems to generate a lot of overspray misting in the Booth.

thanks mate, 0,5mm and 30psi is good for large surfaces like bottom part. For normal parts like seats, dashboard etc i use 0,3 and ca 20 psi, i think it is enough.

thanks you watching man. I use proxxon that has min 5.000 rpm. with reducer i can achieve less rpm but i cannt say how much. In general - less - better. 2000-3000 should be ok

Hi Luca, thanks for comment. I dont know brand, this is just a "1k grey primer filler" on can. There is safety marking "not use on thermoplast", but it works wery well. 0,4mm Nozzle for primer and 0,3 for base paint. About 1,3-1,5 Bar but it depends on airgun, paint viscosity. Pressure is always experemental.
