Same reason they are not supposed to go through metal detectors. massive and strong magnetic fields can trip pacemakers etc

The same magnetic fields that make the motor turn extend beyond the body of the motor and can interfere with medical devices.

It’s a mistake to have the motor and fan rotating in the opposite direction of how it will run

Sorry, no star to delta. It has a start transformer but you can hear the vacuum relais when bypass is on 😉

@@corsafahrer386 it means, that transformer works with that motor, like star -delta swithes. 3,5-4kV on start to limit inrush current and full voltage after it reach closely its nominal rpms.

It's for the induced draft fan. You need ID in heatplants/boilers to take away stale air and keep everything efficient
