I've seen some pictures of your finished work on your old blog. I''d love to see you do a video going over your painting and weathering techniques. I thought your finished tanks looked superb.
I didn't realize border was pumping out a tiger kit. Honestly the options you get for this kit have me sold. I can deal with a 7/10 kit if has options. Looks great!
Did a fine job , good video to watch ! Like that attitude ! Stupid ? for an amateur - no slots for Turret to attach to hull , or did I miss something ! Look forward to the paint job ! Best Edward.
Thank you ! Had a similar issue with the Trumpeter Tiger 1 late edition with zimmerit , also a nice " cheepie" . Just stuck it on ! Grand kids won't appreciate it , when they eventually get their hands on it ! Like your videos ! Hope to hit the big 🍏 ASAP ! Best Edward.
Great video, it shows very good all the parts and build stages. I'm just bulding Dragon Wittman's Tiger (early) right now, so it's interesting to compare the quality of parts and how the build goes.
Great video, and because of it i ordered one of those. Thank you! I hope you will post back again soon. Thanks again!💗 Can you please tell me what was the bad fiting issues if you can remember!
Glad you like them! I am in the middle of renovating my house so modelling has been paused for a bit. But there will be new content posted by the end of the month!
Alot of people on the forms complaining about this kit and the way it's engineered! It's meant to be awful and the markings don't match the tanks for the heat sheilds on exhausts etc! I've got one aside I thought it looked nice when went through the box bit have to wait and see now when get it home and go through the research books!
I agree, a lot of issues with the kit but I wouldn't say it is a total dog. It's kinda cheep after all and you do get a lot of stuff for the money. However, would I build another one? hmmmmmmmm !!!!!
@@brucca-nyc8790 60 bucks ain't cheap for it! I've just built there crusader mk3 and can say it's a great it so much so I did buy a second! But I've got loads of RFM tiger's and know the issue's and fixes what did you find with it going together OK or not great? I guess I'll find out when start mine and do my own assessment see what's what's but it came out nice enough there!
I just started this kit after bailing on Takoms Panther A with Zimmerit. Once again I had issues with this kit mainly the radiator fan assembly. Unfortunately, I bent the photo etch the wrong way and @#$&+ 🤬😫 so I'm scrapping the radiator fan assembly. Hopefully the rest of the kit fits ok.
Thanks for the kind words. I would give it a 7 out of 10, It would be lower but the price is great at $40. It has fit issues, flash, mis-matched molding and the instructions can be improved. Its definitely not the worst kit of a tiger, but I will stick with rfm's or dragon's kits in the future.
@@brucca-nyc8790 Which of RFM & Dragon kits feature the same version of the Tiger (Operation Citadel). I think that Airfix & perhaps Academy have one, but I'm not too keen to try their versions (especially not the Airfix one!)
@@brucca-nyc8790 I am building one just now it’s not great, did a Tamiya version and it’s better. The instructions are strange till you realise some photos are mirror images and they just skip on the supplementary parts and give no idea inhospitable they are done. The barbed wire being the worst offender
I was told this kits garbage? Looks awesome. Other then the hull top mounting with an Exorbitant amount of clamps. And the feifel filters was this a terrible kit?
I never get why you and most guys on RU-vid put on all the extra details like the tools and the tow cables and stuff, and then paint after you paint the model. Wouldn't it be so much easier to paint these details off line and attach them to the model before you weather it? Just asking, I build aircraft but I like watching the armor videos, you never know when you might pick up a nifty technique.
I sometimes add details before painting due to the fact I want to make sure there are not any fit issues, or gaps I would have to fix after paint is added. Another reason is sometimes I lose loose parts, and by sometimes I mean most of the time. lol. Once glued in place, they can't get lost!
Normalmente un modellista prova prima se i pezzi combaciano e se occore scartavetrare. Per me la tanto decantata colla Tamya ha poca aderenza e uso la Revell ad ago.
