Somebody was on the nice list! Awesome kit, dragon always put a lot of spares in their kits. Thanks for sharing Bob, take care and keep up the good work my friend.
Hi Bob, This looks like a great kit. It fits right in with the diorama you are planning. I'll be looking forward to seeing the build. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day. Jeff
Thanks Jeff, without realising it I have amassed all these North Africa vehicles, so it seems logical to do something to tie them together. Watch this space 🤔👍
A great looking kit, I had not seen this before, an early Sherman. Since it is a gift you are obliged to build it :) Your diorama idea sounds great. Great video, thanks.
Great video and unboxing my friend looks a fantastic kit will be lots of spare parts the etched sides is a nice touch looks forward to seeing you build it thanks for sharing and have a great new year to you and your family 🙏🙏
Very cool Sherman Bob, I like that one well there is quite a few different Sherman's out there by different companies, anyhow, yeah I need to find a couple of them that I like. But anyway hope you had a good Christmas and have a better New Year 🎉, cheers 🍻 mate 👍👍!
@@greybeardmodels - Thank you oh so very much mate, I truly do appreciate it my friend! Have a safe and Happy New Year Bob, and your family too! Be safe and well! 🤟🤘✌️
Great kit and review.👍 yes dragon for some reason love to give you extra parts? I did a video on what it looks like trying to keep it all. And I'm telling you it's a nightmare. God bless
Cheers marra, I'v run out of space already 😢I'm probably going put more shelves up or box up some of the completed builds 😳 now I know why you do figures😂 👍
Very nice looking kit. I haven't built a Dragon kit yet. I did get the new Flyhawk 1/700 Scharnhorst 1943 deluxe kit for the holidays. Looking forward to it. That should keep me busy for a few months.
Thanks for watching, I’ve not built a Dragon kit before either, so it will be a new experience. The scale of model ship kits has always kept me away. Good luck with the Scharnhorst. 👍
@@greybeardmodels I will be working with photo etch in 1/700 scale for the first time so it will be a challenge. But that is why I bought it otherwise I would have just gone with a Tamiya kit. You are quite welcome! I have a fascination with some of the capital ships that went down in ww2 and Id like to build the ones I particularly like the history of. I am more of an armor and plane builder but ventured into ships recently.
@@nordicmaelstrom4714 I totally agree, I always like to challenge myself and learn new skills. Good luck with the build. Will you be putting pictures or video out?
@@greybeardmodels That is why I have largely migrated away from Tamiya because their kits often leave nothing for a modeller to really do so to speak. Thank you! I will need it as its in depth that is for sure! I don't know as of yet.
I think the tracks are bagged seperate because the ones that go around the sprockets and Idlers have a curve to the connectors like the Takom kits something to check on Cheers !
@@greybeardmodels I did the Takom Lee and mixed up the links, they fit perfect and tight but mix up just one of the curved and flat links the whole thing is off. fortunatly I was able to pull them apart easily and fix them.
