Hi Cedric, I'm not 100% certain this kit is still available, however here is a link from the Amazon.co.uk website for the Monogram version, it's essentially the same kit. It's from my affiliate account just so you are aware, and if you do purchase one, I will receive a small percentage of the sale, will all proceeds going back into the channel: amzn.to/2I8HJN3
Hi Allessio, there is no easy way to do this part. Either glue the photo etch in place and then paint or paint first then photoetch. Personally I paint the decks first as there is less chance of me damaging the parts. Unless the instructions call out parts in a tricky, hard to reach spot. I'd rather touch up the paint up after by hand
Hi James great review (another 1/350 ship- yay!). I've seen people light the wet deck so you can see all that wonderful detail. I'm afraid to attempt that on mine because I'm horrible at electronics. BTW if I may ask how much did this kit cost you? I picked mine up for $75 CAD a year ago. But I see it going for double now days.
Thank you Thanassis! I was a bit nervous myself! The one time I lit a kit I ended up burning myself. Still, I'm going to try again, on my USS Nimitz. The New York was about £70 when I bought it a couple of years ago, but you're right, they've gone up in price now
