JB great insight to WORK the 1-4, 1-6, RC/LC with the Tee. I'll be doing the same after work... getting a free Infield is hard to find with the kids practicing. I'll do it on the open grass.... Tell Big Pops... "SALSA..!" 😂
Yep thats what the man said - makes sense, you don't want to 'advertise' where you're going with the ball and you don't get to look at alot of pitches in a game scenario, control what you can - I've found it helps to replay spots in the videos when unsure Tee work works wonders for 'working' spots and if you don't mind shagging for yourself, you can quietly work what you want. Nothing like stepping up to the plate KNOWING where you're ready to put the ball with authority ... cheers
WM and eBay both have these for $15-$25 look for one that is at least 43" to 47" extended. They are poorly made but functional for a 1st tee and should last a season [2.5 - 5lb wrist weight helps stabilize] athletic tape handy for ball holder repair, too. I sold a couple sticks on the Bay over the Winter and graduated to a Tanner Tee w/ 10" extension, keep an eye out for deals. The Tanner extension is overpriced galvanized pipe - with roughstock and a threader you can make at home. I also use a 10lb 'golds gym' plate and saved over $30 than Tanner's base weight or upgraded model tee bases. Results? I often lead rosters in season average, it aint talent - its PRACTICE - ton of tee work on my own ... cheers
