I’ve followed you through all of your grave digger videos, and i just now realized you’ve been planning and building this thing longer then i have been alive… you are truly something to behold amongst the rc community. Your a legend man! This thing will always be number 1 in my book.👌🏻🙌🏻
imac8175 use at least 91%. it also is better than anything at removing latex paint from anything. I used it to remove black paint from tan carpet, home owner didn't even notice.
Ah come on man, you hand made a whole monster, I think a lot of people watching this would agree that it would be a walk in the park for you to make a mount and someway to get the power to the rear end.

To Keith. What a coincidence, just yesterday I ran across your video part 2. Man, what a build. You have some awesome machining tools, wish you were my neighbor! I definitely subscribed!! Yes it would make a change to have someone local to talk to. I reckon I've got about 80oz water total, but when the system is in the car I will reduce that. I'm using an electric pump with a bit of antifreeze and some water wetter. The Megasquirt controls the fan nicely. It's all going to take a bit of squeezing in under the body. I've got 10 coil packs to get in as well as all the normal stuff. And it's a hybrid so there's 2 x motors and separate battery pack for that. It's not as easy as it seems is it? Great video as always... Is there any chance you'll go back to working on the sprint car? Seeing as you're really into the Connelly V-8s, why not start a 1/4 scale sprinter project and put your old v-8 in that! That would be unique and the most awesome series ever.
+Ken F. Yes, it is time for another 1/8 Sprint Car video. I've got better wheels, made foam tires, front axle is mounted.... A 1/4 Scale Sprinter is a good idea but I need to finish some projects B4 starting another.
+Eric Johnson. The orange one has the belt conversion, the black one is chain. Is yours complete??? Get it back together man and display it. I have many spare parts still, no roll cages though.
rcWizzard It's complete, I don't have the bumper, those things broke all the time. I think I even still have the "driver" that is body clipped inside the roll cage. I have a few rare R/C's one of the rarest I have is an MRP Highroller, it could float and was 4wd and 4ws. I bought a Tamiya Toyota Hi-Lux at the Goodwill for $10, complete minus the body. You have a really cool Gravedigger too, I love the 1/4 scale engines, being a mechanical engineer who is a gear head that is my kind of thing. :)
To Michael, the 5B is 1/5 scale, the V8 is 1/4. Your best bet is to keep searching e-Bay. I'd guess 2 to 3 grand for a running one. OR, you can get a brand new Stinger 609 at ConleyPrecision. com.
Can you help me a bit -pleasy? Pretty please? I makes for a hobby - an Ferrari copy scaled 1:4. The cores seems to have the problem when casting.. Any suggestions?
try using Coleman fuel works really good in real small engine also carburetor cleaner will clean up a engine really good also WD-40 will keep a engine looking New .
To Colby. The engine has a centrifugal clutch with a bell housing + shaft out the Trans housing (no gears inside). That turns the upper Transfer-Case pulley that has a belt that turns the larger lower pulley that has a shaft connected to a telescoping universal shaft that's connected to the axle diff. The T-Case back is all custom made.
To Thiago. If you mean the newer Stinger 609 you can get one at ConleyPrecision. com check it out. The older one, you'll have to keep searching e-Bay for one. The older engine is Nitro, the Stinger is regular pump gas.

So why did you stop using this in your old 1/4 scale grave digger project? I mean other than it getting gunky from storing it.... why? Did it fail and stop working? I don't understand.. Also why not just put it back together and put it back in the gravedigger? You don't seem to share a lot of information about your projects relating to why things are what they are.
+Sabrinahuskydog. After talking to the engine builder he pointed out that parts are no longer available for the old version, molds were destroyed in a fire. So I decided to go with the new Stinger 609. Have you seen my other videos with the 609 in the truck? I did a video that detailed what motor I was going with. Part 21.
+rcWizzard Oh part 21? I must of seen that a long time ago... That's old. I don't know how I missed that but some how I missed that important part. I'll go re-watch it again.
It will do nothing to the springs being stored in a compressed state. Springs only fatigue and wear (not counting environmental effects such as corrosion) when they are cycled. Ask any engineer that ;)
next time try acetone Or denatured alcohol .. It's way cheaper and I think it might do a better job Or try the ole Marvel Mystery oil it's been cleaning everything automotive for me for decades ..

I am a real ASE Certified master Auto Mechanic if I knew of any way to get in touch with you your car's will work every TIME . Also if you use carburetor & choke cleaner on all of your cars engines your car's engine will look bring you every time . You can also use Coleman fuel in your cars engines your car's engine will run a way a engine is supposed to run
