I am using a LG dual inverter 1ton for the last one year. I use it in my 120 sq ft bedroom every night from 10 30 till morning 7. I set a temp of 27 degrees first and lock the room for 15 minutes first. After 15 minutes when I enter, the room gets really cool. The main problem with people using ac at night is they set 22 degrees and cover themselves with blanket. Try 27 degrees without blanket and see the savings. I am getting just 165 rs more than my regular fan bill.

Depends on the outside temperature largely. You should've shown that too.

Regarding power & energy efficiency 5 star dual inverter ac's are absolutely perfect but there are some cons with this 1st high price from normal 3 star ac's, 2nd and most important is maintenance agar ek bar kharab hua to very high repairing cost.. It is my personal experience..... But regarding daily routine power consumption it is good......

Always buy inverter Ac even if you have to shelve out 10-15k more. My 3 star Voltas AC which i run for 6 hours gives bill of 2000/- per month. If I would have bought inverter or 5 star, would have been 1000 per month. In 2 years I would have recovered the extra money paid.

Good Explanation, your power bill depends upon Normal Room temperature, Outside temperature, Humidity, If you are running a fan or not, if you are switching to Turbo Mode right away... Any AC Runs on full capacity first and then adjust compressor (Invertor) speed to maximize cooling with minimum power and temperature loss. If the room has False Seeling and any other metallic objects also make difference.

I use the 1 ton dual inverter 3.73 ISEER 2022 edition. This is more efficient than the 1.5 ton 5 stars 2022 model.. as the less tonnage. I use 16 hours continuously ( 5AM to 1 PM, no AC .. rest always ON) I consume 8 Units approx on very sunny day.. and 7.5 units in cloudy days.. and 6.5 or even lesser in rainy days.. I am from West Bengal.. So hot and humid climate.. So if i calculate the total.. its coming to 680-700 units in every 90 days.. or around 230 units approx every month, or 1700 per month (7.31 per unit slab) for running the AC at 25 degrees in day and 26 in night.. which is quite awesome.. I am on top floor.. but the room is 99sqfts EDIT- AT first I used to get lesser mileage, but now I used a creative idea.. used bricks and tarpaulin sheet (tripol) to cover the 99sqfts in roof just above my room in the top floor.. to make a 4feet height shade.. This will help people who have room in top floor.. Also ppl, dont use black or dark trampoline.. just use the most reflective .. like shiny silver color, white is the next best color choice..

always consider 60% more price per unit. because there are 4-5 taxes extra. Fixed charge 95rs + 1.35rs per unit extra as flow charge. also 16% extra tax on total. These charges also vary. so here u took only basic charge. add 4 more rupees to it.
