I'm digging on Doc Doom! There have been several very good looking figures pop up lately, but this one...Yeah! And an RDJ face would be SO Kool! I doubt they knew he was coming back when they first planned it. Samurai Predator is Rock'n! I love that Alien base and parts! Origin Lasstranaut is Too Kool! I don't even know why - but I'm going to find a space for her. Just Stupidly Weird - but I Loves it! Spidy is Kool...but...I like the head sculpt...the suit is nice...but I'm not paying that much for a couple of bits and a stand that doesn't look like the movie. And then there is...Devil Sister Nemu...!!! I may need to add a new floor to the "Secret Closet." Makes me want to Get Religion!
🤣. Eberybody needs a little Nemu in their lives. 😉 I like those weird figures. I was buying all the Anime and odd figures for a while but they just ended up sitting in their boxes in my basement. I don't even remember which ones I even have anymore. 😥
@@TheFigureZone Almost ALL of mine are sitting in boxes right now. I've got a house to remodel first. Somehow...being old and broken seems to be slowing me down a bit...Sigh!
That is definitely a lot of work. One day I'd like to repaint the walls where my figure shelves are but I have no place to safely put 100 figures while that's all being done. 😬
@@TheFigureZone It's the house I grew up in. My Mom & Sister were both collectors. Every room looks like an episode of Hoarders. I've had 6 back surgeries. Just from abuse from doing stupid (but incredibly fun) jobs in the wacky world of Entertainment. By the time I finish/die...my Wife will junk all the figures just to be rid of them.
Oh sweet ! That Legolas is amazing looking. I gotta start playing the lotto so I can win big and buy every figure like I used to do a few years ago. 🤑. I guess the 2.0 figs are an upgrade from the originals, but if your is already cool, it's hard to justify buying a new one with so many other figures coming out these days. Some like the Andrew Garfield Spidey are worth it for the height upgrade alone.
@@TheFigureZone totally agree ht saw those aftermarket prices & wanted to get in on it. I used to collect everything I saw with military figures. l kinda got carried away lol, I just recently finished a purge of my collection. Now I do pick & choose.
Nice ! That's the way to go. Pick and choose. You gotta have a plan in this hobby. I was buying so many lines and ran out of display room and money quick. This is definitely turning into a crazy expensive hobby. 😥
I'm with you on that. I was buying all the Spidey, Star Wars, Iron Man and random cool female figures and I went broke after 2 years of doing that. Definitely pick and choose. Long gone are the days of the $40 Sideshow Star Wars figures.
I'm not a 1:6th collector (too expensive & lack of space), but do like to see what is released in this collector's sphere to see what might be released in my favoured (& affordable) 1:12 scale.
The hats a great idea to keep an eye out for them. Lots of 3rd party companies have been shrinking down their 1/6 figures to 1/12 scale and now InArt is gonna do some 1/12 also. It's only a matter of time before Hot Toys jumps in also. I'd love a whole display of Hot Toys 1/12 Clone Troopers. 🤩
Dang, those I8 Toys female figures look good! They're also pretty pricey as well. I'm seriously looking at picking up a funwestdoll 5'2" Cammy(Lily) for $1,599.00. I just wish she didn't weigh a heavy 88.1 lbs! Shipping is 25-35 days. I'm still doing research but probably 90% going to place an order at this point.
Whoa ! That's awesome ! I've seen those Cammy and other gigantic silicone figures with the steel skeletons. They are amazing for a display. The detail is crazy cool with them. And you can drive in a carpool lane if you live in a city. 😝 Those i8 sets are really cool but I'm thinking it's like $50 for the head and like $40 for the clothing set. That's not too bad but the clothing is kinda meh on these 3. Check out their facebook page to see some really cool ones headed our way. One might pass for an X-Men white Queen. 🤩
She is so cool looking ! I love the magnetic feature. It can keep the costs low because we don't have to buy a deluxe version to get the birthday suit version. 🤩🤑
Hoshi Sato was a D1 for me. Legolas the the Nazgul look sweet, but the price is way too high. It looks ilke Legolas only comes with about a 1/3 of the accessories that Gandalf and Aragorn have. I wonder if InArt would be able to get away with these prices if the LOTR stuff was officially licensed for North America. It also didn't help that several pro-InArt influencers never once criticised the prices.
I'm loving what Exo-6 is doing with their ST line and not just making 10 Kirk & Picard figures. Those InArt figures look amazing but they are definitely for the high end collectors. They can pretty much change whatever they want and most collectors are just gonna buy them, which is awesome if you have the budget. I'd buy some here and there if I had the cash but I can barely afford a $25 figure in this economy. 🤑
As for HT artisan Harley how can they call it that and charge that much for something that has pleather. And it will break down in a few years. Great videos keep them coming.

My present toys Indiana Jones has a leather jacket and he cost a fraction of Harley. She does look crazy awesome though but I'd have to start a Fortune 500 company scam or sell Fight Milk to make that kinda money to afford these idiotically priced figures. 😝
lol yeah ever since In Arts showed up with crazy prices it’s somehow accepted to do that - Hot Toys following suit so they don’t lose business! They released the Hot Toys Suicide Squad 2 Harley Quinn as Artisan and she was on wait list within short hours! Usually I steer clear but if my wait list converts on her I might just have to get it. ⚖️💸💸💵
You totally nailed it. Queen Studios was making amazing expensive statues and then created InArt and they started making the amazing figures with statue prices. I think the Joker started it all off. That deluxe set was $1,000 and fans went nuts and shelled out the cash. InArt realized they can charge whatever the hell they want and people are gonna pay. Hot Toys said we gotta stop repainting Iron Man figures for a day and make a figure with wool rooted hair and call it an Artisan Edition. After that it all went nuts with the pricing. 🤑. That Harley does look really cool though. Hot Toys has to knockoff the open mouth head sculpts though. If they give us one of them they should include a neutral head sculpt or a smirking head also.
I have the original HT Samurai deluxe figure, came out about 10 years ago! This is just a rerelease and repaint (with new optional helmet), I also spent months making my own version from scratch that ironically has the same coloured armour as this guy but a blue and white shaded body covered in Japanese waves tattoos. Is it just me or does In Art's Legolas look more like Henry Cavil than Orlando Bloom?

Good choice making the red armor, it looks super awesome and is more fitting for the time period. That's cool yours still looks different. I've bought custom figures only for the figure to be released a year later. 🤣. It's much more fun personalizing your own figures though. 😎
They're expensive because kids aren't into toys anymore, so companies gouge us older collectors. In 20 years or so, most toy companies are going to have gone under, mark my words, they're not creating new fans.
I'm with you on that. Fans are willing to pay these crazy prices so they will keep raising them. It was only about 8 years ago when a deluxe class transformer was $10 and now they are $25. Nobody will pay $40 for a GI Joe classified figure in 20 years. I wonder if collectors would be buying an Artisan InArt figure in 20 years for $2,000. 🤑 For me that's a Hellz to the no.
Kids are hooked on him. I admit I watched some also. 🤣. Kids with collector parents usually collect too but they stop at like 10 and no kid is paying $60 for a leader class transformer that's now like 7" tall. Those leader class ones used to be way bigger and like $40. Once a basic marvel legend figure hits $30, many collectors are gonna leave the hobby or just buy better upgraded figures to replace the ones they have. It's sad because these companies don't see that. InArt will sell a thousand $600 Legolas figures, but could sell 10,000 of them at a $250 price point.
i dont have the luxury for the lastronaut, but it tand doctor doom is my choices, i think its only the 2nd 1/6 articulated figure of, many faces is great, im expecting the face underneath is a doom bot
That Underverse female is pretty sweet. She'd look cool flying through the air on some fishing line. 😎. Doom loos so awesome. This weird that they didn't mention the face. It's probably just the doom bot or some eyes wearing an under mask or something.

I've found with Hot Toys it's all random times when they list the items. I've seen a coming soon figure go up for preorder in under a week and some went up months later. Let's hope we see all of them soon. 🤞
@@TheFigureZone yeah, they showed the Jungle Predator and then the T1000 and a Clean Face T800 from Terminator 2. I already pre ordered my T2 Battle Damage 2.0. I'm just waiting for the Jungle Predator and Alien Romulus pre order now. Maybe next week, cause HOTTOYS doesn't usually make pre orders on weekends?

I’ve stopped buying Hot Toys etc IP offerings. I’m doing 1/6 scale storytelling and would rather make three characters with outfits out of Phicen offerings than get one figure from a film these days. 😅
Making customs is always fun and you get to personalize figures. The prices keep going up on figures but our dollar value keeps dropping. Even 3rd party figures can be $220 and up. 😬
That Legolas and the Wraith look good, but over $400 for a caped figure, that's ridiculous! Even more for the price of Legolas, is also a no-go. I loved the LOTR movies and wouldn't mind collecting the figures, but those are out of most collectors price range. When you have to decide between hyper inflated groceries, or these figures, I'll be getting my food😆 Can't say I'm impressed with Hoshi headsculpt from the Enterprise show. It's great that they are doing all the characters, but the likenesses have certainly gone downhill the last year or two. I thought the guy who started Exo-6, was a Star Trek geek who was going to go all out for the characters. As I said, they started off well with Picard and Data and it's great that they are trying to do all the characters, but a lot of them are no where near where they were when he started the company out. I can't imagine it's easy, but I'd rather wait a bit longer, or pay a little more, to have a better headsculpt.
Maybe they had a new artist painting the head sculpts on the Hoshi figures. It did look a bit soft. Hopefully it's just the prototype and we'll get a way better sculpt when the figure ships. 🤞. $400 for a body wearing a Halloween costume for $400 is a bit steep. That's a $150 figure. They must have paid a 💩 ton for the license and we gotta eat the costs. 😥
@@TheFigureZone I'm with you on the ridiculous costs of the figures though, it is getting out of hand. I looked at the Tech figure that just came out from the Bad Batch, and because I didn't preorder it, it's now going for like $700 Canadian, which is just over 500 U.S.😳 The character wasn't even in the third season and I'm not a huge fan of the headsculpt. I'll pass on that and wait for a future deal, if it happens. I think we should organize a Collector Con and try and organize a mass boycott of the overpriced figures. Unfortunately, there will always be people who cave because of FOMO. Only us seasoned collectors know enough not to get caught up in the frenzied collecting that we might have done at the beginning of our journey haha!
So true. Tech went up because of the Crosshair debacle and Wrecker will probably skyrocket. You'd think they'd all go down in prices but just like you said, some collectors are willing to pay $800 for a Crosshair figure and now a ton more cash just to finish the team and that will keep the prices climbing. I always say if you want a figure just pay the deposit for the preorder. It's a great piece of mind if the figure sells out and you don't have to buy the figure from some shady guy in an alley because you missed the figure and they wake up in a tub of ice with stitches where your kidney used to be. 😝 Gone are the days when we could get those Sideshow 1/6 figures for $40. I still have some of the Monty Python, random Horror & The Dead series figures.
@@TheFigureZone I can be a bit of a 'completist' with any figures, but I find as I get near the end of a line of figures I would like, if I don't have one or two, it's not the end of the world. You tend to realize there are more important things in life. I also find when you stop worrying about getting 'that figure' , more often than not, it will show up at a time or location you weren't expecting and then it feels even more gratifying - and you get to keep your kidneys🤣
The kidneys are important. 🤣. I like to save searches on eBay and scoop stuff up when it hits a price I'm happy with. That is definitely a nice feeling. 😎
I remember seeing a photo recently of the updated version and it doesn't have that Mars Toys detail. Hopefully collectors just gotta pop the Star Wars Moff Gideon head on him for a quick fix.

They are doing an amazing job on their figures and banking institutions will be sending them fruit baskets for Christmas after thousands of of collectors take out personal loans to pay for all the awesomeness. 🤑😝

Those would all be sweet ! There's some cool 12" Cylons out there but they went up in price big time. I bought them for $40 each years ago. We definitely need the Colonial Marines. 🤩
I did got a little conversation about the prices, its getting way out of control dude, like you said, its turning in to an exclusive rich people only hobby, and the people behind the brands dont give a 💩 , i get it, its handmade etc etc.... and also do you need from every marvel persona 37 versions??? So many characters, and always the same twatwaffles pasdin' by.... and dont even think of getting one second hand, if you missed out.... because these prices are handed out by goldfever sick ass-hats... i love this hobby, but its just getting insane.... i can only agree with you, inart gives great figures, but the price, man, common'. The same with hot toys.... if this keeps on going, and a lot of brands are like this, and need to follow.... its over and out for me....
I'm with you on all of that. They will keep charging what collectors will pay. If you got the extra funds then that's awesome go out and get those figures, but the average collector can't keep up. I never bought used figures before on eBay but you can find some crazy deals if you wait it out. That's what we done for the past year on figures. What sucks is to this day I've never gotten a Heath Ledger Joker. He was my favorite and every time he went up for preorder I ran out of cash to get him due to me buying other figures. After a while I just gave up trying to get my grail figures.
