here's an update on the still to be named 1/6 thing...
here we see almost the complete rear assembly mock up....
I'd estimate I'm around 35 percent complete at present.

I just got a micro lathe that was built in the 1970s for machining small parts and I'm using it to start scratch building my own transfer cases and rear ends shocks and frames first build I got going is a 1/4 scale rc 2005 era nascar sprint cup car exact scale motor and all I'm making but awesome work I got mini berticle mills and horizontal mills and a Lazer and water jet table I built for making my own parts

hey budd awesome build are those the axles you lengthen on other video an could you run a 1to1 coupler like in tamiya tractor trailer?

Yes amigo, same axles I made into the xl ones. I'm not sure which coupler you mean... a fifth wheel coupler on top of bed ? Or you mean a pass though axle for 6x6? If the first, then yes... if the pass through...then unfortunately not

@@RccarsUK for the rear drive shaft so it's nt so long then you could couple the trans to the 1to1 then to the rear diff

No unfortunately not possible...there is no pass through diff option for this particular set.
