Honestly, yeah. Vampire deals magic damage when they heal. Omni vamp heals you with magic damage up to 75% damage taken. Take a lot of damage causes you to retaliate which heals you which triggers vamp and "infinite".
Not really. The run actually skyrocketed as soon as he got the helmet - compare the damage and HP amount before and after buying. If he just rolled and bought random levels for the boots and sword he likely would have lost.
I can more or less guess what happens... Omnivamp heals you when you deal damage which your character then deals magic damage when you heal that instantly creates a infinite loop that heals you for 75% of the damage received during that turn, since you have 7 omnivamp you multiply the damage you took by 0,75 then divide the result by 7 rounding up, thats the number of attacks you character does for it's healing. The game seems to do that calculation at deal all those attacks one at a time but the target only get removed after all the attacks finished, and the games looks for a kill by checking if enemy hp after the damage calculation after the attack is lower than 0, soo all the attacks after the enemy hp is empty results in the game counting as a kill. Devs can probably fix it by making it target a different enemy as soon as last attack resulted in a kill and if no target is found to void the remaining attacks, that way the pseudo infinite loop would still work but every enemy kill would only count once essentially making at maximum killing the entire board + healing you for 75% damage taken every round. Alternatively, they can instead of retargeting to just void the remaining attacks, making a board wipe also impossible and would result in just fixing the multiple kills from one enemy.
I think the bug is coming from a trigger every time you deal lethal damage you get the kill rewards. So if you kill it with one or two extra instances of damage you'll get a couple more but if they're at 1 life and you deal 100 times lethal then you'll get 100 triggers
Not gonna lie the glitched version of the game feels SO MUCH FUN, I wish that was the main gameplay loop.. it's like pachinko or slot machines combined with inventory management, I love it.

game is too easy... even to get far stronger than you've been at the end of the demo... wish I could go further too... even beaten the demo with all elite and not even being close the death...
Just...pain. Complaining about thieves. Refuses to buy items and cycle shop to spend/save gold. Holds on the useless items. Chases after the useless helm instead of cycling to get more flesh sets. Continues to complain about thieves without doing anything. So much pain.
I love his vids i watch all of this game but i kinda find it annoying he explains always at the start but i understand it to for the new people who watch hem 😅
