Awesome review. I ordered mine today. It looks so much better then the mini gt version and I still love minigt as a diecast collector but Master did a fantastic job on this Landrover defender
@@smallmodelcollector Do you also have the minigt version as well? Sometimes, I would usually get different brands to compare when it comes to the casting, details and so on. I collect alot of Autoworld and Greenlight and I have pros and cons with there cars. I bought an example of the 1970 Dodge challenger from both companies. The wheels on the greenlight version were too big and the casting looked a little off. The AW casting of the 1970 dodge challenger looks amazing but the wheels could be better since their a little skinny. I sill have to get the Toyota Supra from minigt to compare with Hobby Japan 1/64 and Kyosho as well.
Ended up getting the Master myself since their are some images, floating around, of the Mini GT where the front of the hood isn't so precise. Plus those cables and accessories all wrapped up in a nice display are a win for the Master.
Yep, I think we made the right decision. Both are quite good for their respective prices, but for such an iconic truck I wanted the best in my collection..
