I am glad you reviewed this mode. This pearl white finish is really one of a kind on diecast cars. Unlike the other metallic white with clear coat and metal flakes, this paint is thin with some gradient accents which makes it look like a real pearl white color I see on real cars This model still has some qc problems from what I observe like unremovable black dots on the paint, crooked front badge&logo, and more, but I am still happy seeing more licensed supercar models. They are also offering a mc12 and mc12 gt1 later according to many sources, and I really look forward to those offerings
These are actually made by Mini GT, I think, so that would explain the similarities in construction. Their next model is an Alfa Romeo Giulia, which is likely when I’ll cave and get one.
That's true. Though regarding Alfa Romeo, I reckon why Mini GT would not produce the model themselves instead of teaming with BBR when Tarmac Works can make the model on its own.
For the price they are charging, it shouldve come with disc brakes and a better appointed interior. Its a nice model but doesnt justify the price increase like a TLV. BBR did make a 1/64 scale model indirectly by letting a brand called SP models make the Ferrari Monza SP1 and SP2 by sublicensing agreement. The Maserati MC20 is a real car ofcourse.
It’s a nice casting. However, I’m disappointed at the paint job it looks dull and looks like they was cheap with the paint layers. Also you can tell the mirrors was painted at a different time then the car because they don’t match the body.
