Where do you get the 3/32 rod for the axles? I want to take the tires off of one tractor and put them on another exactly the same tractor as duals but I need a new axle
Both Jacob Whittaker and I are wondering how to take off FRONT & REAR wheels on 1/16 tractors. I'm wondering specifically on the "Prestige Series" w/axle duals? Thanks, I really appreciate your videos; you have an awesome collection and setup.
@@MidwestFarmToys IMO the 1/16 4840 precision came with too small of front tires and I’d like to put 16.5-16.1 tire and wheels on the front. Those tractors were beastly and TOMY put little skinny bolognas on the front.
Question Jason........how do you remove the front tires like say on that IH tractor??? I have an Ertl IH 5488 tractor that I want to add MFWD tires to the front end!!!
If you just want the tires off, just warm them up in some water on the stove or use a hair dryer or heat gun. Once they are warm you can just pull them off.
U said u were going to repaint the tires, did u mean that or the wheels? I have been wondering if painting tires flat black would make them look better?
I've been using the panel clip pliers for a long time now. I got them because, at the time, the Harrison tool wasn't available. I saw the panel clip pliers at Harbor Freight and saw that it was the same concept.
