Hi, I have an Octavia vrs 2.0TDI with the CEGA engine. Mine has the same things in the way above the oil filter as yours does. Now I know how to remove them, thankyou. Great video!
I use a 1/2 drive socket and speed brace and have never removed the air intake on my Skoda Yeti!..It's in a hard to get to place but using an open ended spanner is asking for trouble!!..At least your sump plug has a replaceable washer, I change mine every 3rd change as the washer comes as a package with the sump plug...Worth sharing is if you get a VW/Skoda that doesn't get to full running temperature, check the thermostat in the coolant line to the DSG oil cooler!
Without lifting? You deserve congratulations. I was thinking of making my own Skoda Roomster but I thought I would not fit under it. You made me think!
Hello, great video! Yesterday I went to do my 3rd oil change on my 2011 Yeti. All was good, same MANN filter, but when I screwed the oil filter cap the middle stem broke. Only reason I see for that is that one of the new O-rings is larger than the old. Now I have to take apart all the oil filter housing to find all plastic bits. Any advice?
Very well done thank you for this post i watched your video and did mine.same car same engine.only one question is it 4 liters oil goes in? I did 4 liter how much did you do ? Thank you already
Golf wagen please i have an question. Is it possible to insert the filter upside down by mistake ? Or the filter wont let you install it upsidedown? If someone install it upside down will there be any damage ?
I'm working on a car and the spindle that the oil filter goes around has broken off the lid and is stuck in the filter housing. Has anyone any ideas how to remove it? It will spin around but will not pull out
