@MysteriousWonders completely agreed. I love that they don't need all the effects to do it. they kick ass and take names without all the pyro and large screens and stuff like that. they just flat out know how to rock!

This is the best live video I've ever seen from them! I cannot wait for ABIII. I actually prefer this faster tempo on this song. It makes the riff even cooler and shows off their range as a heavier band (than Creed at least) a little more. Rock on!

@cheseecake it's a Myles Kennedy creation. it's not a song off a record or anything and so far as I've seen doesn't officially have a title. Myles is credited on the DVD and he had it up on his myspace as his own music.
i love AB, dont get me wrong, but myles does not sing one line of either verse in this song, i mean, with a voice like his we want to hear how good it is in every line rather him just shouting it to the audience.

Not only is it live...not only do they play it 5 to 10 bpm faster than the record...not only is he playing rhythm guitar...but Myles manages to sing it better than the record. Guys...I think Myles is a robot...
@metalerry I grew up with Hendrix and Zep. Still like them. But as good as they were - everybody has to keep up with the time. So today I think Alter Bridge is one of the best bands of nowadays. This is Rock n Roll as Hendrix or Zep would play if they were guys of the period we live in and would start their careers today. No glam or Diva preciousness - only pure RnR best performed
@zachstadtlander Yeah, I totally agree. Live music is the best. Few bands are able to really put it on a high level. ZZ Top is one of the best examples ;) I've dicovered Alter Bridge recently, watching their stunning live performance of Buried Alive, and I consider them great musicans. Don't get me wrong fellas. In my opinion, in this particular performance they failed to capture the magic of this song. It happens to every great band.
I love Alter Bridge more than anything, they are by far my favorite band... but I kinda have a problem with how much Myles "talks" during songs. Like... instead of actually singing the notes. Like... Shinedown's Brent Smith changes his melodies live to the point of unrecognition, 30 Seconds to Mars' Jared Leto blows his voice out by the third song, and Myles.... talks.
It's so.... Accelerated. Love it! I just wish Myles would do the same vocals as he did on the album... He always seems to change it up live as far as pitch and everything but hey, he's the singer not me. They still sound awesome on the record, live, period.
@MinecraftSuperBuilds Alter Bridge is still together. They have a third album out, on tour, and Tremonti is working on a solo album expected to come out Jan. 2012. As for Creed, I'm sure they will tour and release an album within the next couple of years.
please vote Alter Bridge they are making music for passionate people who want to listen to real music. other groups fed the commercial music that is, 30 seconds to mars and linkin park. we win those who sweat to make music, go to fuse.tv
I like Creed But I love Alter Bridge, and its such a shame that they don't get the credit for being such a much better band than Creed, and the reason is Miles Kennedy. Miles has one of the best voices in music today.......................................

@logradoricardo yes, it is faster than the album version. Alter bridge tends to play the upbeat songs faster live to keep the audience pumped. I forgot what you call it, ballardic... someone help me out here...
@ChadAustinWilliams He is just as good singing live as he is in the studio. Listen to Blackbird played live. The reason to why he talks every now and then is probably because he's slightly out of breath
Man, I NEED to buy Blackbird, AB will have the honor of being the first secular band's record I buy. Every time I listen to more than three songs of theirs I suddenly get a ton of song ideas!

Totally! AB is WAY better than Creed, and it does sound better a little sped up. AB III is gonna be EPIC!!! Mark is one of the best guitarists ever, and Myles is the best singer in rock right now!
@ChadAustinWilliams he can be good live. yeah, I agree it's annoying when Myles talks and say's That's right but I saw them in Birmingham last year and they were AMAZING
@ajaxrulzz Hell yeah it is! They always play faster live. It's actually really hard not too, especially when you have a responsive crowd, you can't stop the adrenaline!

Played live this song is fuckin'hard... they played it in Nonantola (Italy), I was there, and this song have been one of the hardest. And they played Isolation.
I think it would have been much better if they would have tried to play it with the same beat in the album version, this one's too fast but still a great song =p

Too bad they rush so much, their sound is great live, but come on.. their playing this song like 50 Bpm faster than the album version, its just kind of annoying.
