For all the memes about asol being 1apm it really shows when it's a good and clean Asol, it's a game of inches then and his kit makes sure everyone sees the skill.
I agree with you on maxing W second. After the nerfs to his E which made its cooldown not decrease with rank, it's almost a worse ability when ranked up because of the minimal damage increase and sizable mana cost increase.
