The athleticism of North Shore is impressive. They say speed kills and NS has speed to burn. I was at the Woodlands game and they just ran all over us.
Northshore was amazing against Westlake. Such incredible speed... And athleticism. Couple of guys jumped over and broke tackles like Earl Campbell of old.. just trucking people. Westlake had fight but didn't really dominate the line of scrimmage, especially against the Northshore defensive front.
Love your channel! As a Cali observer of Texas football since I saw my first game on Direct TV maybe 24 years ago, I can say that as an overall product, Texas is #1 in the country. The games are like watching mini college games. While Texas may not produce the #1 team in the nation, everything else is top flight and the most fun to watch.
You don't lose a coach like Todd Dodge and a winner at QB like Cade Klubnik and replace them easily. I did kind of see this happening before the season started. Westlake plays weaker teams mostly, but it did finally catch up with them. They still have some good players like Vasek and Greathouse, but Northshore is loaded.
Damn, might as well call it a 50 spot on them Chaps. Todd Dodge thanking his lucky stars he didn't have to play North Shore in the playoffs his last 3 season. There wouldn't have been a 3peat for sure. Everybody just watched this game and the film doesn't lie. Nice job Tone.
We all know its the trenches that make these teams powerhouses. I still agree but where Northshore outshined WL was at the skill positions. Northshore skill players were by far better across the board. They literally manned up on WL no safety back and said beat us. On offense they just out skilled WL.
The catch at 24:26 didn’t get the attention it should have. He released outside but had to come back inside around the defender after the under throw and still made the play? 💀👌
And.... North shore Beat Westlake again . This time at the PField near Austin. What a game. Northshore was able to run at will. The failure of Westlake to score and an interception in the final few minutes sealed the game for the Mustangs as they ran it back to inside the 5 yard line with 2 mins to go. I left the PField again. One year Westlake will either get revenge or avoid a possible rematch at the state championship.
What tha hell are they putting in the water at NS ? They crank out dominant players every season like clock work. Do they recruit ?.....I mean, to consistently have that much dominant raw talent in one public school district year after year seems almost impossible and yet they do it. Hats off, they are awesome.
It's called 'Open Enrollment'. There are 2 high schools in North Shore's school district (GPISD). One has 6A enrollment numbers and the other has 5A numbers. You can move to North Shore for athletic reasons. They will be good for a long, long time.
@@ktcarl there are plenty of 5 and 6 A schools . The amazing statistic is the per capita of tremendous athletic talent at one public school district year in and year out. Most districts do good to have a couple of stand outs every few years. Theirs is a phenomenal bulk of unending talent. Im not complaining, I think it’s great to be so blessed . They certainly have the secret to success and it’s gotta be more than just hard work (lol) …..👍
@@billiondollarbaby973 not meant to be “backhanded” in anyway. Just amazed that a steady stream of numerous great talent keeps coming year after year. That’s a good thing .
LOL Duncanville & North Shore gets local talent 🤣 Mater Dei [whatever] & IMG recruits from all over the country for talent! Much props to Duncanville and North Shore and even Miami Central, all local talent within their districts! When Mater Die win and beat schools with their local talent then you can talk. I'm sure Mater Dei have Texans & Floridains on their team 🙄
@@brianjackson2197 Private schools don't really have districts. They can accept any student they want. The only real solution is to separate public from private (as TX does). In Cali we complain about Bosco and MD as well but when you finally beat them it is incredible.
Cool you should check out Duncanville, Desoto, and SOC games as well...Duncanville beat North Shore this past weekend. All three of those schools are in the DFW area and about 10 miles apart and won state in the larger classications. Crazy talent throughout Texas.
