Hi Glamfam! Happy National Asian Heritage month to all my Asian Glamfam sisters! Representing my daddy's (Japanese) side it was fun to honor an asian owned brand and to personally know how popular this is in Japan! Avorie was able to tell me that it's literally everywhere in Japan that she goes! Many others read the claims and talking points on how this is #1 seller in Japan but we personally know someone to witness that and give us that feedback which is awesome! Avorie knew about this well before social media made it popular and sorry it took me so long Amber to review this! I hope to someday be able to visit Japan! 🇯🇵 This blew up on Tiktok and thanks to the incredible asian influencers on that platform and the amazing and talented Robert Welsh on RU-vid! Then every other big influencer jumped on and spread the word TirTir even more!! Putting this K-beauty brand on the map! But being an Asian RU-vidr (over 46), it was fun to review this from my perspective and hopefully help others make a decision on whether this was right for them! I will give you my update below on how often I use this. Also Regina and Amber both bought this on YesStyle ➤rstyle.me/+rU8FkxolQYJd2_WkUpkmag and you can get a sample for like a $1 so maybe try that first but always remember Amazon returns quite easy if you can find your shade prime that's the tricky part! Update: I don't wear full coverage foundations on a normal basis and I personally still love my Maybelline skin plus vitamin c the most and then Surratt for special occasions but sometimes I will use this more as a spot conceal and like that better than concealer! I do use this very sparingly but for the purpose of trying this video I used a lot! So my recommendation moving forward is go more sparingly especially with mature skin and that is a bit easier sometime with a brush and then sponge to blend out. I will play with this more in real life and maybe even on another video.I will probably have to up the shade to 24w if I get tanned more during the summer months! I may buy that sample just to test out other shades. ❤
Can you please recommend a drugstore price or low high end price for a bronzer and contour shade. I need a cooler shade. Every time I use a bronzer or contour, it's always tooo warm

@elizabethmejia1117 Hi honey for the delayed response I’ve been trying to think of some good ones! I feel like I’ve tried a lot and they all failed for me. I definitely didn’t care for the new Nyx butter bronzer. The smell was crazy strong and it gave me a headache but the formula wasn’t too bad. The elf bronzer isn’t too bad either. All the other popular ones are packed with pore cloggers so I avoided those. Sephora collection is one of the best for semi affordable middle range. I will think if done others and include my favs when I do the drugstore tutorial! I love using my maybelline skin tint in 330 for bronzer it’s so easy and beautiful tone!
Hi gorgeous! I bought it in 23N Sand I believe it is, I haven't tried it yet but since everyone loves it, I'm sure I will to! I had no idea you were Asian, wow! Sorry I haven't been around, things just keep getting tougher & tougher for me. You look fabulous, you always do! I haven't done much with makeup for awhile now, just been depressed and can't find the energy but maybe seeing you again will snap me out of it! 😘
I'm hearing from two of our Glamfam sisters in the comments the audio is too low. Was so concerned because it sounded completely normal and had to actually turn down my volume lol but wanted to make sure others weren't having issues. I tested it on all my devices at home (laptops, iPads and cellphones) and no issues. Had other family and friends try and it was fine for them as well. If you're having issues so sorry but I'm not sure why. Maybe (and sometimes this happens to me) but the volume on the RU-vid screen is down so try increasing that. There's a little icon that shows volume on the video and you can adjust that. Hope that helps! 😘

Robert Welsh recently posted a really good video on how to apply cushion foundation properly!! The most common mistake I see is the puff going from the cushion straight to the face. Use the palette (inner cover) to even out the foundation on your puff, and to get rid of excess product. This will allow you to apply a thin, even layer
I do love Robert! If I watch any beauty RU-vid (mostly like podcasts), it's either him, Wayne Goss or Spencer! He always gives good tips and that's actually what I've been doing off camera and I pinned that comment. I don't personally use this on everyday I love my maybelline skin tint more because the vitamin c in that as been helping so much with my skin but sometimes if I just want a little extra I love this for spot concealing instead of concealer but the pigment is so strong that I love using my bk beauty a506 to dab sparingly in those areas and then blending out with my sponge! It was fun to try out heavy handed in this video but playing with it in real life I prefer the lighter method lol!

New to your channel and I enjoyed your thorough review! When you used the sponge to apply, was it damp? Also, when you added a primer, was it water-based or silicone-based? I bought Tirtir in sand color and it’s too dark and orange. Is there any way I can lighten it so that I don’t waste it? Thanks!

As far as the sponge goes, I always wet my sponge and then I take a towel and try to get out most of the moisture. I like it to be damp, but not wet and I actually explain that in next Sunday’s video when I test out the Scott Barnes viral Aquaphor concealer trick so stay tuned for that. I also show how I like to apply this Tirtir cushion foundation now. I have a new method for it and I think you will really like it. It really makes your skin so smooth before you apply make up. Before I do the number one primer I put on the NYX Freezie face as well. I did not use sunscreen in this video though. As for the shade did you buy on Amazon because if you did you can return and try a lighter shade that’s what I did. But Reverse I went darker. If you bought on another site that you can’t return you can always get a white foundation mixer. La girl has a good affordable one! Link below. You will put it on the back of your hand dab the Tirtir foundation with your finger that’s important not an applicator and mix it into the white pigment and that will lighten it up. A blue pigment will neutralize if you want to pick a blue shade and mix that in too. Use a very small amount and build if you need it. Now it may change the formula a little but at least you won’t waste your sand shade. You can also do my favorite I take the Maybelline skin tint with vitamin c and get a much lighter neutral to cool shade and do the same method but just a little amount and then Tirtir! It’s important to mix with your finger to warm up the products and mix them well then you can take the cushion, sponge or brush whatever you like and apply to your face! I hope that helps! I will do a tutorial on this if you like. Awe welcome to the Glamfam! I’m more into high end makeup as well! Very few drugstore/affordable makeup I like so it’s very surprising that maybelline is so high up on my foundation rankings! Surratt is very expensive and high end and that’s my ultimate favorite! The best quality on the market! I like La mer and have it but Surratt blows them away! And not as expensive! 😍 I try to do more high end review but I don’t have the bank account yet for that lol but hopefully as my channel grows I can expand those reviews!!! I love high end brands so much so can’t wait to dive into more luxury makeup! But a lot of my top makeup is from high end as you will see in my videos! 🥰

See I thought that the sponge that they gave us in the compact worked extremely well I mean it doesn't soak up any of the foundation at all it's kind of cool😊 And the key to that too is tap tap tap a lot of people that I have seen it's like there rubbing it in or doing circular motions 🤷😮
Hi Barbara! Yes tapping is key to this product and tapping on the back of your hand first then applying. I did the one month update video how to apply this the best and a different color and liked it so much better! You’re absolutely right about the sponge that comes with it!! I use Maybelline over anything else every time I put makeup on this more for a spot conceal but I don't want to have to travel with this too nor do I need 18g of product so mini would be better but our shades are not avaialble in it!

I hear and it will be around so don’t waste your money and finish up those foundations’ 😍 I’m not surprised it would wear off on some skin types especially combo because it is a full coverage formula that has a lot of glide to it so if she has any type of oily skin she would need a gripping primer underneath! Oh my goodness I hear ya! When I first put that on I looked at my significant other and we both said whoa lol!! But then oddly hours later we were out and about and it ended up oxidizing like crazy on my skin so it oddly didn’t look bad later in the day! But I’m even thinking of bumping up to 24w but afraid it will oxidize too dark and that’s not on Amazon lol! I like free shipping 😂!! 17c will definitely be good as a concealer for both of us! ❤❤loved the birthday shout out! I’ve been using this quite a while and it’s a good addition to my cushion collection. I always use the puffs in cushions and I clean them. It presses the product into the skin to make it that much better.

Hi friend ❤ I ordered the sample pack for $1.80 that way I could Play around with a lot of shades to see which color I was, they sent me like 12 so that was really good. That was on Amazon. Unfortunately this did not work for me, it ended up looking patchy on me after just a few hours. I didn’t like the way the formula felt either. I’m glad it worked for you tho.
Smart if you can find the shade to order a sample! I wanted to but they did g have my shade available and thankfully Amazon is amazing at returning! Everyone skin is different so makes sense! I don’t use this everyday as mentioned nothing bests my maybelline but for spot concealing it’s great! 😍
I always use a damp sponge. I don’t recommend ever using them dry. I do wet it and then squeeze it out a lot so it’s damp but not wet! Hope that helps! 😘❤️

That's so weird that the audio on you and Elaine's device is playing so low! I've tested it on all my devices and I had to turn down the volume because it was so loud! I'm not quite sure what's going on!

@@cryanna.666 oh my goodness that's weird that it's doing that! I had all my friends and family test it out too and they all said it was fine. I'm so sorry it's doing that as I know that's irritating. I do know when I'm editing I watch podcast RU-vid videos more on news/real estate or fitness stuff lol but I have the volume on low. So there's a little volume icon on the video and I can toggle the volume there so even if my device volume is on high that video will be low volume so I can still concentrate while editing my videos! Maybe try that. I tested it on my laptop, RU-vid tv, all our iPads even my mom's old one and it was fine on volume. Just sucks it's not working on your device I'm so sad!

Hi Alexandria! I could not smell anything. I just realized I forgot to mention that I’m so sorry I always do be caution so sensitive to fragrance in foundations especially! In the ingredients it does say parfum just so you know but I personally couldn’t smell anything! ❤️

I looked at that site but I never bought anything fr then before, have you, is it a good website lol I had never heard of it so I was going to check the website reviews and I forgot lol. I love this video! I was telling Avorie that the way I use 17 is as a concealer highlighter, and that I only use the pad and dab and I don’t set much on it I only add powder bronzer and I only use a finishing powder to blend the bronzer, I set my chin and my forehead but the Tirtir looks so good without being set, like super natural and blend and melts in, try it without all the powders it will look so good 😊like not greasy but super radiant as the hours go by 😌🤩🤩🥰🥰🥰🥰

They have all the high end brands! I love Relvove! I thought about it because I was like I really want to do another tutorial on my favorite go to shadow look and was like I bet revolve might have it because they have all the good high end makeup brands and sure enough they did!!
