Highlights of the San Antonio Game of the Week, #1 Brennan Bears (5-0) taking on the #4 Taft Raiders in a battle of undefeated squads.
Both teams combined for 886 yards of total offense in a back & forth contest. 2023 QB Ashton Dubose led the way for the Bears going 11-20 for 208 yards and 1 TD. Also rushed 10 times for 24 yards and a rushing score. 2024 RB Jason Love rushed 14 times for 183 yards (13.1 YPC) and 2 TDs while 2023 WR Avron Carter (4-90, 2 Rush-17 yards 1 TD) & 2022 WR Jaheim Lard (3-81 1 TD) led the way receiving.
Not to be outdone, Taft was led by 2022 QB/ATH Justice Hurt who rushed 29 times for 284 yards (9.8 YPC) and 3 TDs. 2022 WR Jamel Criswell (2-44) led the way for the Raiders in receiving.
Brennan improves to 6-0, 4-0 in District while Taft moves to 5-1, 4-1 in District.
