I've been struggling hard with scrupulosity recently. This morning at Mass I was unsure if I should receive Communion or not. I went up and received, and was kind of worried after the fact. I asked Jesus as I was meditating in the pew to forgive me if I had just committed a sacrilege. Right after I prayed that, the sun shined really bright through the stained glass window across from me, and I felt a wave of peace. That experience coupled with this video has been a reminder to me this morning that God is not monitoring our every thought and move looking for an excuse to condemn us, but that He truly loves us and desires to share eternity with us. I was atheist until 2019, ~41 years old. I thought there were too many problems, opinions, and differences in the world to cross that divide. I thought I believed in one less god than any other theist. I eventually realized I was blinded by so many problems that I was serving as my gods. On top of that, I was being willfully blind and ignorant. I realized I couldn’t see God, because I forgot Love is always greater than our problems. And i stopped counting my blessings, missing most opportunities in my day to be grateful for the present that is the present 🎁 , the gift 💝 of Life with freedom to Love, thanks be to our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God the Father & Holy Spirit. Yes I have problems, and I still forget to tell them I have the one & only God that is Love that is infinitely and eternally greater. Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.

Nothing to be afraid of if you're not afraid to suffer

To not be afraid is not possible for everyone. We all have our own crosses.. If anxiety is not one of your crosses Praise God.. but know some of us cannot stand on our own with it... We need God, and Help. If you do not have these mind issues.. Praise God... if you know someone that does, don't ignore them.. at least pray for them... They have a difficult cross to bear, because most people just tell them to "get over it." or they are told "they lack faith." These things can drive the person into isolation making them think the Church doesn't care, and sometimes it can lead to thinking God doesn't either. You have no idea how hard it is to struggle with a battle people tell you is just "in the head." Thank God lots in the Church are coming to see this... but please have charity on each other and Pray for them, if you don't quite understand their situation. That is a great loving thing to do... I promise it is. God knows us all and our weaknesses... Let not just "tell" the weak to be strong, but help them! P.S. in the Garden of Agony.... Jesus allowed himself to feel Anxiety and Fear.. trust me when you deal with it.. you see it in that moment... He is soo Good!.. He sees us... I have found offering my Anxiety etc.. to his own agony that day then... really helps a lot.. So does prayer! Sorry to speak up like this... but we all have stuff we struggle with and can't over come ourselves... If its not your struggle.. Praise God, and pray for the person. I don't have to be starving, to know there are children starving in this world, and to pray for them. God Bless you.

Thank you so much Mark, here in italy i'd like to see more priests like you, i'm almost always alone as a 35y old youth in the church, except sometimes i see other young people join. Prayers and faith is dying. You are a light in this end times last years. I will pray also for you to be a good testimony for people, we are many, we must remember we need to love more and God loves us more than we could do :) We must also unite people and be united even if we distant in the love of Jesus because Satan wants us divided and conquered. When I think about Chastisement, I picture Jesus at his Last Supper, then the next morning. Everything he went through, his mom seeing him, knowing she had to let him go. Nothing in my life will compare having huge square nails pounded through my hands and feet. They probably beat those hammers all over his hands and feet besides just hitting the spikes. The Chastisement will be our Cross.

Be still and know that I am God. This gives me much solace and peace.

In my meditations, with the aid of my Guardian Angel, I have come to realize that God’s Love is the most powerful force in the Universe. It dwarfs black holes, fusion Stars, Quasars, matter/anti-matter reactions, and Time.All things created by Him out of Love for Humanity, it pierces the very fabric of the Universe.

Just what was needed

I have always believed that God speaks to us in signs. We had a very bad hailstorm fierce winds & rain back in May, my home has been flooded from such storms a few times. I asked the Lord to give me a sign that all would be well. Sure enough at the end of the storm a huge rainbow filled the horizon from end to end. I gave thanks to the almighty my home has been dry all summer! I have always believed 2 things. Mother Nature is God’s messenger & right now he VERY displeased & angry with us mortals. Never mind climate change. I also say often with respect to how gender issues are viewed today “mess with nature pay the price.” Lastly Nature always wins because it comes from God our creator.
