To worship God as He desires, we are to offer our bodies as living sacrifices. Jesus challenges us to take up our cross daily, but He also says to ‘take up [His] yoke’ which He says ‘is easy’ and His ‘burden is light.’ It’s all part of living in Christ and walking out the Kingdom. We need to die to self daily and yield to the Holy Spirit. We are to be ‘yoked,’ joined to Jesus, working with Him to follow the Father and the Word in obedience. It’s not keeping a list of ‘Don’ts’ but a list of ‘Get To’s.’ It’s not work, although it’s not easy; it’s freedom. It’s not a burden; it’s a pleasure, although it costs us our ‘flesh.’ Even when life is hard, we know that God is good, and we just trust Him and love Him and experience His unconditional love for us. It’s all worship. Worship is meant to be our lifestyle, not something we do once a week, in church. Thanks for the teaching, Dr. G.
