@@ajkelpo although James said they are trans, to be more specific the character is Non-Binary, aka the pronouns are "they/them". That being said, most of everyone says 'he/him' anyways (including myself), and also the developers themselves used 'he/him' a number of times during the Operation Vector Glare reveal. However it is worth mentioning that the voice actress Amanda Cordner does identify as female and is not trans/NB, she just agreed to voice act for someone who is.
hey lion isnt super experienced and was cycling thu cams when he pressed the button. Just remind him and be nice he has a doctors appointment so hell be off soon anyways
This isn't really a mistake but I will say for Zofia, Ash, and especially Buck, I'm not seeing enough players breaching from below. If you see a player or especially a gadget that is stuck in a corner, remember that you can shoot it from below and even if you don't get the intended result, that's now an extra angle they have to worry about
@@pupgaming5072 It'll take some time but I'm sure you'll get the hang of it! There are some common spots that people like to anchor in so just drone it out and see if you can find something. Just make sure you clear the floor below from roamers and that you don't have the defuser
Vertical play require map knowledge and droning on corresponding location before getting there(if the player do not intend to vertical play at prep phase)
There is this one thing I do with Flores, using his drone as a diversion. It works surprisingly well. Making it go into the room and just letting it autopilot as you exit your phone and follow right after gives a fake-out sound cue and adds additional chaos to the push that could give you a few extra seconds, I find it especially useful when I'm one of the last few ops on my side as it makes a lot of people assume I'm manually controlling it and may make them act differently.
some of these are really obvious. Like a better tip for thermite than "dont put it in the middle" is stay safe with your team untill you use both thermites or dont use thermite on a map when you dont need 2 big holes in walls
Addition to the Dokkaebi tip is that defender control takes priority over attackers when both are using a defender cam. Especially problematic if Maestro or Echo haven't died yet.
One of the biggest mistakes I see with Zero is that the players immediately flip their cameras on site walls and they’re typically destroyed. I try to plant a couple of cams on site walls then flip them around 15 seconds later when the defenders are not likely to be watching them anymore.
Honestly. The idk if I'd call it biggest but, worst mistake I've seen for Iana is... People not using her hologram. Period. Like... My guy.... She has a gadget. USE IT to make sure the AREA IS CLEAR before you HOP IN.
I think one mistake fuze players make, fuze can put his charge through harden walls. It can come in helpful when harden walls are muted. There's some sites (clubhouse) where a fuze charge can clear the mutes.
As a Zero main, I don’t usually use the shock laser mainly because I set them in sneaky spots on site and don’t want the defenders to spot where the laser is coming from
Another Zero main here. If I have my cam in a good spot, I’ll use his zap on super important devices such as Kaids or Mutes. But that’s only if I have it in a really cheeky spot, like underneath the couch on 2nd floor of new Consulate. But I completely agree with you otherwise
I agree but disagree with bravas. In a lot of matches ive played lately few people are using gadgets you can hack, and yes default cams are nice but with how often im seeing alibi i think hacking prismas is good. Defenders in my game are typically spraying through the prisma care free, which especially with the slower ops that have low ammo counts, a ping is lethal. Also disagree with ace, having a low one is good for a lot of circumstances, but i also always put high ones next to it as well, because it gives you the ability to see in the room without the risk of peeking your whole body
The biggest mistake that happens when I play against Osa is that the enemy Osa will get close to me, then set her shield down. This is super stupid, because I can easily move left or right and shoot her in the ass. Take your engagements from a DISTANCE as Osa, it’s one of her biggest strengths. Also, if you’re playing against Osa, save your impacts. Her shields are vulnerable only when they are set down, use them then.
thatcher is also useful to take the defenders sights which makes them play more nervous or they retreat from the angle so you can push up it works better in lower ranks
I dont really main anyone, because i feel like its better to switch it up everytime. However I am in my vigil era so here is a tip. Start of by the using the K1A and his SMG. I dont care how good the BosG is, the K1A is easier to use. Also, try and use your ability when in a darker corner. This will make it hard for drones to see you.
Me and my duo have a dumb strat we like to occasionally do where he plays Grim and I play Sens. You block off lines of sight with Sens, and let Grim shoot his bees behind the walls. This way, you can shoot anyone past your own walls, while they have to guess where you are. Usually someone gets C4’d but it’s fun to mess around with!
i agree with all but one of these tips, and that's buck shotgun, with the extended barrel and laser attachment buck shotty competes with mute and smoke shotgun while ADS
1:21 I use Sens (I’m around a silver play as an FYI) to reposition and get angles. Sens has an amazing gun that has 51 bullets and (I believe) has frags too. So if you get pinned down or in a bad position or want to flank, use his ability to reposition. Also, Warden can’t actually see through his wall (NOT 100% TRUE, I JUST HAVE FACED MANY WARDENS AND NO OF THEM HAVE KILLED ME WHILE I REPOSITION)
I'm seeing this eleven months late but uh, I definitely felt a little tingle in my plums when I saw that big-brain grenade + hammer the floor move for Sledge. I've got about 400ish hours in the game as a strictly casual player (totally random ranked pushes on the side) and have never seen or thought of trying that. Sledge is obviously just a one-off operator but man, I giggled at the idea of getting someone with that grenade.
8:18 A common mistake I've seen gridlock players make is throwing their gadget at doors they rush/hatches they drop. They end up just letting the enemy know which door to aim at and getting domed instantly.
Zero counters Mute pretty dang hard too. Use your gadget at the top of the reinforced wall, pierce through and take out the jammer. It's pretty easy and I'm surprised by how unaware the defense ALWAYS is by it
I partially agree with Jackal's tip, but what avoiding me from doing that tip is the fact that the screen glitching up when you take damage when the eyenox is on, potentially throwing the engagement.
As a Flores player, I like to use the drones for area control. When I play Flores on Kafe and the site is on top floor, I use the drones to herd the defenders into site where I can get kills from above.
Biggest Monte mistake: stop moving left and right with your big shield up if you have teammates shooting behind you. Push forward, but don't shuffle left and right and get shot in the back.
As for prisma vs brava I'm in copper and often I take prisma cause they are put in like doors and weird positions and defenders often just walk by them and got pinged and don't destroy prismas and it works :D
As someone who has been in countless 1v1s with a blitz, if he flashes you and you feel like he’s getting close to you, just knife him. It’s a 50/50 chance you get him or he gets you. Just remember where he was and you get a hit on him!
I recommend people who play glaz. Team up with sens more often. It helps with he can see through and lay out anybody blinded from sens's devices. Warden is a worry but it's not super struggling if you use them right
The hatch being soft in the clip wasn't related to what I was talking about, that's just cause I didn't have anyone in my game to reinforce it for me. Basically when you see vids like these and someone uses a hard breach on a soft wall, you are meant to image that it's a reinforced wall But yes you are correct when it comes to that, 2 will open a soft hatch! :)
Another tip for dokabi is using her ability the moment prep phase is over, it’s not good I know it’s to get them off their cams but I use dokabi ‘s gadget as a sound queues and you only have two so don’t waste them doing this.
W Blackbeard!!!! Also, people should get it through their heads that blitz can very simply be killed if the defender gets lucky, because every time I’ve seen someone get flashed(by me or I’m the one who was flashed) we just shoot blindly in his direction and 9/10 times we kill the blitz. In fairness this is before the update to shields so idk if it’s the same anymore
I hope florez gets fixed soon. His drone keeps kicking players out of the drone randomly and disables the ability to get back on before it explodes along with a weird camera glitch that requires you to “equip” your weapon before anything else. Devastating for the attacking team especially when the bomb goes off at attacking team member locations or useless ones. This is a known bug and it’s annoying because you don’t know when it’s gonna happen or if all your drones do it. E: Update! Just got fixed! That was fast. They also fixed sen’s smokes so now they ain’t bullet proof when stacked.
The amount of times I have seen a ying use all her candelas on 1 room just to not push it and it ending up being empty anyways is insane, and then after it’s clear someone sneaks in and ying dies to the person who just entered the room anyway
To the fuze thing about that be aware of your teammates sometimes people are blind and when you activated it you cant change it unfolding so many times i even warned people that im gonna blast in this room or so sometimes not but they were right next to me seeing it deploy but rather than watching their environment they just walk like a npc into a fuze charge because they tunnel vision much didnt happen to me a long time since i tend to rather use my Fuze charges as anti Gadget now and get my kills that way by fuzing random people staying on the usual peak spots or defend angles near the bombs but i had another smart ash not long ago who just slowly walked straight on into an activated fuze she even had time to back off but rather walked slowly into it
These are all such common sense ideas but honestly people do these things so much. Although I am guilty of losing my Kludge drone with Brava. Also, never knew Twitch could just snipe with her drone. I though it had decent range but not like that lol. Good to know
She was changed so many times but she was ranged thats a buff she had 10hp zaps earlier on and infinite zaps that recharged fairly quickly then it changed to 14 usages for her taser and then it was like 3 times and 1 hp damage and now they rework her again but tbh i like the old Twitch it was pure rage when someone was skilled enough to let his drone survive taking 10hp from everyone just zapping making it very uncomfortable for an enemy to hide somewhere or kill downed enemies before someone could revive them i think alot of more shields were used as a defender in this time also because Ash IQ Twitch Rush was really a thing before most Operators lost their Acog Sight i died also a few times to good Twitch players and i hated it but also loved to do it myself was really nice when you managed to down an enemy by just zapping him and he gets all mad in all chat
For Hibana: for a Castle barricade, no matter its size, you need 2 Kairos For an unreinforced hatch, you also need 2 Kairos For a reinforced hatch, you need 4 Kairos
Also a SURPRISING amount of lower level players in ranked constantly forget that Finka can revive downed teammates. I had to remind one right at the end of the round, and it ended up saving us the game. Yeah, don't forget that.
One thing I will say that kudos probably realises as well he just tries to help as much as possible is that these tips do not work for everyone. It varies from person to person. Don’t force yourself to do something that might not work for you
I usual use Monty with my duo, who picks Thermite or Dokkaebi with a shotty, they hide behind a wall and I open up the barricade, I move back and as they come forward BLAM, free kill
In defense of the amaru rush into room. It's very funny, and when it does work, it's even funnier, but also, don't take defuser if you're going to do that
I play lion a lot and on spawn peak and run out heavy maps i always scan not immediately but after 3 seconds you would be surprised how many spawn peaks and runouts you can stop just by lion scanning really surprised you said its a mistake
As for Brava enjoyer not a main hearing u say don't use it on Alibi prismas I agree and disagree in the same time... Try looking for ones on site near peek angles u would be surprised to see how many defenders run through it or drop gadgets over it(lesion players mostly) or straight hide behind it/in it or shoot drones through it and get pinged for your team its not the best hack I agree and I usually take only 1 to save others for smth really useful but most of the time it is useful to take at least one! But idk im Emerald player don't know if it works in higher ranks too
Blackbeard’s gadget really sucks in my opinion. On the one hand if you don’t know how to use it then you’re just left with bad guns but if you do know how to use the gadget efficiently then you can be a menace to the enemy team with the right set up. In a game where a core concept is that headshots take players out instantly Blackbeard being literally the only operator who can cover his head and fire back just really has no place in this game. He needs a new gadget, in my opinion Osa’s gadget would’ve been great for Blackbeard but instead we have Osa. So now I think the devs really need to give Blackbeard a new gadget altogether.
I remember once when my team was all pushing and our fuze killed everyone then he said after he killed all of us. "I said boom" well we were all on coms talking about the position
I disagree with you somewhat on Brava. Yes, hacking cameras is definitely a good thing for sure, but there are many defender gadgets that are worth hacking. Kapkans, Wamai discs, Jagers, Thorns, Maestros, and a few more can really throw a wrench in the gears of the defending team when you use those against them.
I like playing Brava whenever I see a Kapkan. I just got my first kill hacking a trap. Imagine the guy dying to it. I even watched that shit back in the menus. It was so funny. Love this mechanic. 😂
what my friend does with brava bcs he is brava main now he likes to focus one drone for defender gadgets if they have like kapkan, lesion or something that has value and then other for key location cameras
I think brava is a play her like how you play like if your trying to help your teamates in the afterlife you can hack cameras or you can hack a kapkan trap offsite so none of your teammates get cheapshoted
13:10 Yes! I always get kinda confused by players keeping their Jackal off. I put it on as soon the round start and never turn it off, unless I get into the range of a mute jammer. 13:34 Ok, enough. I keep hearing r6s guide making youtubers say this and I've always said nothing with the idea there's implied the right thing. But I keep hearing that damn phrase and more than once exemplified with what does not go with the phrase. Stop saying "you only need four kairos to open hatches". That is false! You only need TWO kairos to open a hatch. You need four if it's a REINFORCED HATCH!
If you’re IANA please don’t just run around with her drone unless you want to distract or find enemies. And when you get shot, please PING with her drone, I’ve helped so many teammates by pinging the defender I’m looking at so they can get the kill. It’s so important to stick with someone and pretend to be a real attacker, cause that’s how you juke enemies.
I'm not a pro player I'm barely bronze but the reason I lion scan at the beginning of rounds is cause defenders won't stand still because nobody's gonna be able to flank them as soon as the round starts so they move around, if they move around it red pings (duh) and shows what operator they are I use it to see operators we didn't scan
It's still a waste of a scan since the whole prep phase is so you drone around and have a look at defenders set up and ops. Game sense is also important, if it's round 2 on Oregon and the defenders won the first one, it's a guaranteed they will pick basement site. The most common defense there is smoke or warden holding elbow and another op like Azami, aruni or mira (if not banned) holding box. You can also know the defenders identity by listening to their gunshots as most of them can be easily recognized. And even with all of that, why would you launch a scan that early just to know what defenders were picked? At that point you mostly won't be able to change your strategy since attacker repick is obviously off
Now thinking about it i played thermite stupidly like that i loved to think if i put it in the middle itll blow up both walls making the biggest hole which it clearly did but i was just helping bandit 😂
If playing against solis, if ur drone is in a position set for a push, get to the operator menu. Because i believe it makes ur drone invisible to the scanner.
