Hi I noticed you are not using the evade with the rapier and was curious about your thoughts on the skill vs the other skills? There are some who say that if you don't use evade with the rapier you aren't using it correctly etc. Thanks! Look forward to more vids!

Evade is super powerful for sure, for the damage and dodge, however I find that riposte has more value than my bank account with the amount of damage you can avoid, and dish out (with sundering riposte too). And it also is a massive counter to healers - riposting a riposte 👍🏼

Well put together! I'll add that everything on spear has shit stamina damage on blocking (sweep especially), except heavy attacks and vault kick, which are both reactable. I don't care if you are running lifestaff rapier, blocking Spears, and reaction Dodge is the way in my opinion. p.s. that Romanso guy on 8:40 hits like a wet noodle

Yeah but folks are too much in a souls frame of mind still after two years and choose to dodge everything! haha I asked him to kill me just for the clip, think he chose to do it with a tier 2 flail ha
