Hi Akshat, Thanks for the detailed video and you rightly broke myths around packages. I would like to make a point on the slide comparing the packages, IIM-A is showing 26 lpa for 2020 whereas for other colleges it is for 2021. Maybe in 2021 even IIM-A has the average similar to others.
Create more income source. However all that depends on your life style. A guy with Abul Kalam life style little amount makes him finanically freedom, but for vijay malya life style you require loads of money.

I would like to thank you for being sincere in providing relevant insights to educate the audience on the following points that we have all learned about and found to be incredibly useful: - Living Modestly, - Investing by managing Risk (diversifying through Equity and Crypto besides just having FDs), - Adding value to others (share and grow mindset), - Upskilling for Infinite returns. Without question, all the points are great and agree that the fourth one of investing in oneself is the best to do. *Speaking from experience since I found switching careers from core engineering to working with data and solving business problems instead to be much more productive both from a learning perspective and financially (it was a frantic three months of uncertainty but worth the effort two years back*). I would like to add that even tier 3 grad(btech) can make 18(cash) ctc~22lpa or even more by learning coding and lot of startups are paying very huge salaries. For 0-1yoe - ~18-22 lpa for 4-5 yoe- 35-45lpa and 8+ your ctc would be around 1cr with cash being 70 and rest stocks. Btw all i mentioned are cash component. ctc would be inflated and anyone can achieve them. You can check leetcode compensation section for more salaries related to software industry or you can ping me here ill be glad to help. :)
Hi Krishna What I see around is that my friends are happy even if they are getting 3-4 lpa, As there is a assumption and myth generated that freshers get around 4 to 6 lpa , and 6 lpa is only given to students who have great knowledge and stuff , So when I read or hear comments like you where you all give such big numbers of package , is it true and how common is this , I know at last everything is about your knowledge and skills

Because people are getting paid and one of my super senior(3 year older) getting paid at age 26+ 40 lpa + and actually there are many i can share. But it requires a lot of hardwork and dedication thats for sure
I don't think Masters Union is comparable with IIM's, for all practical purposes they are a new college but the name and brand is just not there. Maybe in 10-15 years it may become like ISB, Hyd but right now to spend 20Lakhs on a certificate (they do not offer PGDM/MBA) program that is not even accredited with UGC, AMBA or AACSB is just suicidal. Don't follow the hype people shady private school are creeping day by day, as Akshat said get into the top 5 percentile of any program or else try again!

8:56 IIM A’s package was less because for IIM A the data was taken of 2020 whereas for other colleges the data is of 2021.. I don’t think there is any difference because of experience..

No, it is not. I also said Ashoka University and bunch of other colleges. I could just find 1 placement report of a private MBA college which was audited by Brickworks (same agency that audited IIMs report)

What about medical students. Even getting in top medical schools also does not always provide lucrative pay. Is it advisable to change profession and go for MBAs?
Thumb Rule from my experience. You take home on an average 5% of your CTC every month. (60% in a year) rest is deductions and variable pay. Thus, if your CTC is 30 lacs, you may take home 60k every month. It can go up slightly, if variable pay component is less
