my guess would be the idle air control valve (IACV) maybe you need a new one . try to clean it before replacing it. btw appreciate you for always rocking the shirt kev.
clean out that Idle air control valve to fix that bouncy idle. located right behind the air intake manifold worked great on my 95 eg d16 motor. great vlog keep it up! Hoping to have my build on my channel be on your level! Airrunner x Airlift x T-Demand x SSR
Check the idle air control valve and clean it out if that doesn’t fix it clean throttle body and if that doesn’t fix it replace both or adjust the idle screw on the throttle body I had that same issue with my EJ8
When I owned the car the bouncing idol went away after changing the distributor, it stayed away for about 14 months then came back, when I used I live view on the OBD scanner with the car running the idol wasn’t bouncing according to the ecu it was just the RPM gauge bouncing so I left it, the car does idol higher than normal for some reason (1000-1200 rpm when it should be 600-750) so yes I would say do a full tune up on it to be safe, spark plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor, pull the injectors off and get them clean, do a full intake manifold cleaning, with attention to the IACV and throttle body. The car is due for this maintenance as it hasn’t been done in 50k. This will give you a “clean slate.” Before digging at individual problems on the car.
brooooo wtf i got to cut the front no wonder my tire are so mess up now not because of the camber but the tire rubing from the tire well ... this is a good ass vid
