I proudly wear a property patch. I ask my ol man no questions. He goes to church on Fridays & us ol ladies stay out of it. We're there to offer support. Its about respect. Thank you for breaking the silence & setting it straight.

When my man was alive I always told him don't tell me nothing. I don't want to know because then I don't have to lie. As long as you're loyal, don't cheat, treat me right, I'm going to hold you down.

To tell you the truth, this is some pretty good relationship advice in general: Don't disrespect your spouse in public, don't talk to your wife about your money moves, respect your wife, don't sleep with another man's wife, and don't argue with another man's wife (let him check his girl).

I had a friend that was a 1%. I remember that even though I was not seeing him he called me his little sister. I learned that even just female friends a considered like a sister to them. There were times he would ask if I needed anything I would tell him uh no thanks I will be ok and make it. I will never forget this one guy was black mailing me, threatening to hunt me down and all kinds of shit. I told my friend about it several days later at work some guy comes in out of no where and sits down at the bar and watches everything then next thing I notice him carrying a big ass knife on him. He then gets up and walks out. Five minutes later I got a phone call from my friend telling me what happened in work if I saw the guy with the knife. I was like ok why, he was then like you will be fine no one will duck with you and your family lil sis. He even did some digging on the guy who had a bad rep sheet who was a sick stalker. I never once I asked him to do any of that. He said he did it because I was like his little sister.

Hell my old lady will check other members and their kids. Gotta love that. One kid told his mom sit on the porch like the dog. My wife grabbed him by the ear and made him sit on the porch with the other ladies the Perez laughed My wife is a outlaw herself

The 1 thing I gotta say is that with @Choppa and his family, every single time I bring my ol lady around it's nothing but love and respect. Spot on chopper. Not a 1% but a club member 18 years. Our old ladies don't wear any special identifiers, except maybe support t's same as we sell to the general public. Old ladies that cause issues don't stay around long, and when they go sometimes the member goes too. Our old ladies put up with a lot and do a lot for us. They are the ones dealing with our homes and everyone and everything in it when we are on the road, in the hospital, or locked up. They are taking care of the kids, the dog, the cat, etc. A member without a steady old lady? The other old ladies will help make sure things like that are taken care of when that single member is in the hospital, locked up, etc. When we get too fucked up to ride home from the club house, they are who ends up picking us up from the club house in the middle of the night and taking us back the next day to pick up the bike, or getting woke up in the middle of the night when we do come home. Or taking us to the bike shop to pick up the bike after it has been down. When we are having a party, they are often the ones bringing food that they made. Sure, there's a member on the grill or whatever, but its the old ladies dealing with everything else. My guys love my old lady's pasta salad. My P's OL makes the best jalapeno cheese dip- we always get her to make that. Chapter Xmas party? The ladies pretty much make all that happen. ANYONE disrespects one of our old ladies in any way, and they will get circle stomped by the members and probably all the old ladies too. So yes, they get maximum respect from the club and everyone else better show respect too. This is why its so important for the old ladies to know the boundaries and how to act accordingly and not be a problem. If they do this they will find that the club and other old ladies will do anything for them. This is the truth, but this truth isn't as entertaining as what is being put out. I've never liked the way gangland talks about 1% motorcycle clubs. Now when the show is talking about actual gangs like the crips or ms-13 then it's good entertainment. But the Hell's Angels, Bandidos, Mongols, and other outlaw clubs are not gangs. The term outlaw basically means that don't follow what society tells them. They live by their own rules. It has nothing to do with criminal activity. Of course that doesn't mean that there's not a few guys doing illegal stuff. 'Taking' or 'Making' old ladies hasn't been savvy in many clubs (even to prospects), but the flip-side of this is that (at least, in the 'old days'), mutual 'promiscuity' was rather prevalent. The attitude of 'I would do anything for a brother' OFTEN extended to 'share my old lady with you for a night'...and I dropped prospect back in the 70's from a KNOWN 1% gang because of this (I should have gladly gave her to them, and held the Prospect...but hindsight is 20/20)...

Most 99% clubs in this area respect their ol ladies. As far as the two 1% clubs in this area, ive heard from some "ex ol ladies" from one that it was MOST TIMES not so good for them, but the other 1% club seems to treat their women VERY well as far as I've seen and heard. I personally feel like it varies club to club, woman to woman, and member to member. My question though is as far as the property patch goes, when a woman wear that patch, and her ol man does disreapect her, are brothers supposed to put a stop to that? #NYC Ol' Ladies are family and sisters of a club, but that's it. For example: My Ol' Lady knows that I ride in a club. When I go out on club business, she knows and handles it. She doesn't question me or call me unless I take to long or tell her to do so after a set time. She has a property vest so niggas know and will respect. She only knows what Ol' ladies are supposed to know only. No gossip and no pillow talking. She comes to rides and events when it's Ol' ladies and family/friend gatherings only. She knows the brothers and their families. She can help bailing us out of jail and she can watch other Ol' Ladies and their kids when they are in need. That's it. I have seen it both ways. I have seen clubs that your girl will get checked by a brother if her mouth is to loud, if you are not around to check her. But I have seen it in the way you are saying. Sometimes I think a specific situation gets put out as a generalization though. And I have met a guy who passes his girl but I think that's just their relationship. If they are in a mc or not that would be the way they are. 81 never had females but there was a time where if a woman was on the back she would wear the patch so it could be seen. This all changed in like the 50's or something like that when property patches were made and rules were voted on their protocol. That being said that is my understanding from what is public record, i.e. books or articles. I am not a member nor have I ever been. But that has been put out to answer the question of why there are pictures of women in a cut. Further more in the 70's, I think, 81 was taken to court by a group of women. The court sided stating a private club couldn't be forced to allow woman membership. Sonny stated in his book even if the court would have ruled in favor of the women they would have refused.

Old ladies with 'property of...' patches are not members but are in a long term relationship with a member of the club; they are respected, looked after, defended and helped in any way the club can. Passarounds are women that will, for their own reasons and of their own free will, party, sleep with any clubs members just like groupies. Getting a 'property of...' patch (and tattoo) is a proud moment for a lady.
