Thank you for your video! I have a question regarding file upload. Maybe someone tries to upload a malicious file. Is there a way to scan the file before we process it? Maybe there is some kind of Java API which could be used to scan the file

Haven't done the front end part yet...but if u can share the source code I can try....and for mongo db ...you just have to replace the MySQL config with mongo db...(I am assuming u know mongodb with spring boot)

yes that can happen due to corrupted file downloaded, incomplete download due to network issue , you have to add error/exception handling for that

Thank you brother, your tutorial really help me and i'm already subscribe your channel, by the way, just wondering on 19:55 for variabel filePath, if i follow your tutorial about giving back-slash(\\) after fileStoragePath on variable filePath it suddenly change my file name and i got error when i download the picture but if i give only slash (//) after it, i finally can download the file and it doesn't change the file name. I don't know the real reason about that Thank you

Brother, let me complete the microservices testing series then. I'll make a detailed video series about spring-security from basic level to advance level. There are a few things that I am learning about spring security. And you know...also there are office and other things to take ..so time crunch is a lot.

Hey my friend, I was able to get this to work (although I'm using REACT instead of Angular, but the HTML aspect doesn't change nor the fact that we're both using NODE.JS, I assume) I believe that if you simply create an HTML and add an with a type of "file", you can then use the "FormData" library to send all of your form data including the file Let me know if this works: Step 1: install FormData with "npm i add FormData" Step 2: In your JS code create a FormData object with "let formData = new FormData()" Step 3: Create and HTML form with an Input type of file just as below Step 4: Notice the onChange function for the above input in step 3, now let's create that method. In the method we need to add the data for the file into the FormData object, which acts like a map with a key/value pair. Method may look different for you, I'm not familiar with Angular, you just need to get the input event object to this handleChange method, every time input's value is changed (I.E user uploads file to the input: const handleChange = event => { const fileObj = event.target.files[0]; //get the first file in the list of files, in this scenario there is only 1 input for file uploading... formData.set('file', fileObj); } Step 5: Send the formData object to Spring Boot backend, example below uses axios: const response = await axios.post('localhost:8080/api/category/create', formData); Let me know if this works..
