First and the most original version about the angle grinder guide. Year after publishing this they started to make them in China. ( also several other youtubers suddenly "invented" The same ) #hack #anglegrinder #tool
Searched for a good build idea for the grinder. Saw this one early on and watched dozens after this one. Came back and watched this a few times. Best out of all the others. I've already fabricated all the parts, just gotta weld it all together

If you watch the publishing dates of the videos? You'll notice that this also was the original version.
@ I'll have to pay attention. This video is actually the only one with this design that I found. All others were different. It was only after I made it did a bunch of other videos with this design start coming into recommendations. RU-vid gave me the original first. 😊
I appreciate how you have maintained all the functionality of the various tasks an angle grinder is used for and designed in the quick-change aspect which is so important. Great!
Tuomas, I'm seriously impressed that the tool manufacturers haven't grabbed your designs and sold them as their own. Good job once more, and I will be making this for my own grinder.
I was a shop teacher as the Americans call it.I spent a lot of time teaching simple ideas to students. Your design ticks all the boxes. It is safe, simple, visually pleasing, easy to make, easy to fit and works extremely well. Do you have industrial design in your background? Your work is brilliant.
Excellent..!! Toumas, I really liked the addition to be able to take advantage of our grinder, I am an amateur to work with metal and make additions to make our life easier when working any project. So I decided to take more advantage of it and taking as inspiration your video, make my new addition, just today to prove that it works, thank you very much for sharing. Greetings from Mexico.

Cristian Garrido Thanks buddy. Im glad if you found it usefull. 😊
I rent an expensive tile saw to cut granite. It was a big struggle and I end up finishing my project with same grinder. Your attachment to the grinder could make my next project a lot easier.
Awesome build, bro! The chopsaw/bench grinder part at the end blew me away! You really should consider patenting & marketing this if it's not already out there.
After I bought my everlast welder I found I needed a grinder. Now I have 5 grinders and I am for sure going to make one of your creations for at least one of them. Thank you for the great idea and sharing
That's really cool! I think I would add a removable spring to hold the grinder up when using the cut-off fence feature but only if I were cutting a bunch of stuff at the same time. For an item or two I'd leave it the way it is.
Incredible Job, great creativity and easy to understand and trying-to-do project!!! Suggestion s for all is to go to the indicated site Tuomas shows. Excelente, muchas gracias desde Buenos Aires!!
Nice work! A handy tip for restrikes on that SMAW electrode....keep a file handy and a couple strokes over the end of the rod, after each tack will make for real easy restarts...
It's the simple solutions that are the best. Like E=MC2, simplifying things makes humans happier. You should be a tool designer as this is a great add on. It's the people who work with these tools often who know what they should do. Someone else said that drills should have flat tops instead of curved so you can press them against a vertical straight edge and get 90 degree drill press like precision from it. It's so simple yet no one has done it.
Amazing idea, just awesome! I think it wont be long till u see it in tool shops everywhere.. You should protect the design asap, it has so much potential!!
now all I have to do is get a brake press ---- then the arc welder ---- and then o course a plasma cutter which is what I needed before I got sick of breathing in grinder wheel gas. Actually I am 65 and jealous. Thanks for the inspiration friend. Wanna get back into it when I have a better shop and exhaust system.
Thank you Tuomas, You are getting quite famous all around the world. Watched your video last year and frankly was intimidated my all the cutting and welding. Anyway I gave it a go using my Milwaukee grinder. The only issue I had was that I picked a very thin material for the stand and also the plate strips did not have enough incline in my grinder.Anyway I still messed with the design and ended up using the plate from a small cordless circular saw and attaching the grinder with a door hinge (Screw grinder strips to top of hinge, then screw bottom hinge to plate make sure is all squared) Thanks again Tuomas let us know if you can come up with a design that you can using only hardware instead of welding since most people either lack the skill or the resources.

Thank you for the comment. And no welding- version sounds a good idea. Thank you for that. 😊👍
Hi Tuomas : I do really ignore where you live and I like your creation. This is my humble opinion : Your grinder attachment is worthy of a patent. Nice and inspirational work......👍
It was necessary to make a slot in the lower platform. Then it would be possible to saw on the stop. And so everything is beautiful! Respect for the author. I'm always interested in seeing interesting ideas.
That's sweet! I was thinking about making a stand and turning my 7 inch grinder into a chop saw of sorts but I like this better. Another thing on my to-do list.
A algo así de espectacular en mi país decimos ¡qué maestro! Congratulaciones. To something so spectacular in my country we say ¡what a master! Congratulations.
Finish guy (Tuomas) really like your ideas and work. Very well thought through and done. Don't stop, will be stealing (using) bits of your grey cells' ideas. Keep well. And btw Metal is never a bad thing - have been hooked on Ensiferum for a week now, bloody Finns I say :)
seriously mad max u need plans after watching a video of him literally building it from scratch in detail u can rewind ,play it over and over watch in slow mode
fantastic! love your work! looks like one of my grinders is going to be a 'circular grinder'/mini cut off saw/ bench grinder! excellent, thanks very much!!
Great, and useful attachment. Better get it Patented before Bosch take your idea and start manufacturing it

Peter Compton Thanks Peter! I was a little worried about you, happy to hear from you again. 😊 I can't patent it, i think. Its too similar with those small saw's like dremel dsm20(ultra saw) etc.
Great idea for cutting thin wall tube that won't crush it like the band saw or the cold saw....could buy a gorge Fisher but too expensive but this idea is cheaper
