The announcers for hawaii are the GOLD standard when it comes to men's collegiate volleyball announcing. They always know what theyre talking about, give good insights, and clearly have experience being around the game. Volleyball needs more announcers like them!
Not just men, but women’s as well. They’re the best commentators in the country or if not, the world. They’re respectful, professional and very knowledgeable about the game. Lisa Strand Ma’a is one of tonight’s commentators and she is Micah Ma’a’s mother.
You have no idea how much ive been avoiding any news about the score of this match , So for me was very exciting watching it without knowing how this will end up. thanks for the upload. Greetings from Perú to all the Rainbows fans!!
It's crazy how just a setter changes so much. Thelle has improved in setting though but I think he still needs more consistency. I don't see them beating byu if they play like this
I remember how bad he was when he first started setting last season to the point where they had to bring in shuwert. And shuwert did good at the time, but quickly had to be swapped out because he didnt have what it took to be an effective setter. And now thelle has become so much better since then. I just dont know why he never did any dumps or attacks like he did with other teams. Was he scared?
🤙🏼 Thank you much! My internet crapped 😖 out last night after the 2nd set while my daughter and friend continued to watch on Spectrum in Hawaii! 😆 Appreciate your timely posts. 👍🏼🏐🌴
@@locomojoboy2 no I’m not from Hawaii, have never even been there. i’ve been a fan of beach volleyball for a while and started getting into watching indoor over the past 1-2 years. enjoy college more than pro for the most part and there’s just something about the bows that I absolutely love. It’s the talent, the culture, the spirit, hard work, a team that loves each other and works so well together. I watch other college games too, but I watch and rewatch every bows game I can. Hope to see them play live one day, even if it’s years in the future with a brand new lineup, I know I’ll still be a fan
I try to lift my daughter up with this mentality as well...it’s not always about what someone lacks but what someone else might bring. This is still a team and all players contribute
I think he took out Gasman during a game last week for Max. Like you said, I’m happy for Max, but like Gasman is playing like the best MB in the country this season
I initially thought the same, but gasman will be gone after this season and we need 2 strong MB to start for next season- it will be Voss and Rosenfeld. Gotta prep them both with play time to vibe with the team and be ready to dominate next season
Bigwest website sucks. Go to the uhathletics webpage and look at their game schedule. There will usually be a small "watch" link for upcoming games. Click that and it will take you to the site where it will be uploaded. Sometimes it takes you to the bigwest site, other times it will take you to espn.com. If it's espn, click on their menu button-->watch-->schedule & replays-->choose men's volleyball from the drop down menu-->click on the appropriate tab if you're going to stream it live or on replay.
Simon Andersen is the only starter left from the National Championship team for Long Beach and I honestly thought LB was gonna be awful and get swept but they actually looked really good. Should be a scary team next season Edit: I forgot about Ethan Siegfried because I guess he’s not playing a whole lot? Idk what his role is he only played like half the plays this match
Hey bro, glad to see that you're back! I was worried that you decided to close down the channel when i couldnt find the channel anywhere. Thanks for sticking around. Man, everyone did so well this game but I think Gage deserves the MVP. He saved so many balls that would have otherwise been points for LB.
I actually disabled my channel and wasn't planning on continuing uploading games, but since it's a short season I decided to comeback. Plus I felt I needed to do it especially for the seniors whose season was cut short last year to the pandemic and I agree with your statement regarding Gage. He was everywhere...
40:31 I lost track of the ball after the block so for a second I thought Rado blocked him so hard the ball burrowed a crater into the floor or just exploded XD
Long Beach St. is just scratching the surface of their talent, only thing they lack is experience, and word is their looking at a possible solid recruiting class coming in after this season, oh man! Long Beach St. could be looking at some runs at a championship in the sometime near future.
I agree. Given that they lost 5/7ths of the roster (Except Siegfried and Andersen) have graduated, I'm surprised that Alan Knipe is still finding a way to make "something out of nothing", despite the lack of experience. Godbold and Olivier are definitely going to give the BWC some fits in the next one or two seasons, maybe more, if Knipe continues to find ways of stacking up talent while building up experience in between the team.
