This is pure chaos. Ngl he is better than expected but nobody knows how to counter him yet. Once survivors learn which polarity to have, he is going to have a hard time
A good hermit knows when to create and break a connection, and rn not everyone in this video know how so once people learn it, people who play against him will also have a bad time
Fun fact:you can see which colour the hermit is using by looking at the mini ball on the staff, I don't know about the original skin buz this s tier surely show the colour
His normal skin also does that and I'm pretty sure any skin he gets in the future will do the same since it helps both factions to know which color is being use.
Fun fact about counting hermit: if you go into a locker it removes your shock off of you. Only if you’re decoding a cipher that isn’t connected with the shock.
Ngl he seems good, but complex so it's not easy at all. Specially the meta on survivors it's very strong, he gets a bit scarier with presence. Tho I'm not fully satisfied with these gameplays, it was mostly survs being greedy for stuns or straight up playing bad, hope to see more.
@@DsaherGuy You have magnetic field from the very beginning of the match and at the start you can also connect 5 ciphers on the map that will distribute progress across each other and part of the progress will be lost if survivors decode one of those ciphers. At the same time, survivors will get a polarity assigned when they touch one of the connected ciphers which they can change every 80 seconds. Alva can throw magnetic fields at a survivor to give them polarity and then throw a field of the opposite polarity (ex if the survs polarity is red you throw a blue field) and it will stun them. Alva does 1.2 damage (a bit less than Joseph) and the damage will be distributed on every survivor on the map that has the same polarity as the person who got hit. So if you're on the other side of the map and have red polarity and a person with red polarity gets hit, you receive half the damage. That's why you need to switch your polarity to be the opposite of the chased person otherwise you will keep taking damage when the chased one gets hit. First presence is a ball he can shoot through walls which works like Ann's cats. You transform into the ball, aim at the target and stun them with the opposite polarity when teleporting time them it can stun multiple survivors at once. Full presence decreases the coolsdowns for your abilities and can make you shoot 2 magnetic fields right after another. Detention works the same as normal hit, if there are 2 or more survivors on the map they all will get partially hit with detention but not go down since the damage gets distributed. Of everyone on the map has the same polarity Alva can chip damage 4 people at once when hitting someone.
I’m really late to this but, Nah I too sometimes use the same polarity by mistake cuz I thought I already changed it 😂 since I’m too focused on where the survivor is going
1st, I like his skin, but I don’t really like sound of his foot steps 😅 2nd, I still learn about his skills, seems a little complicated to me 3rd, NE plz nerf Antiquarian; her stuns feel forever 🫠
This sounds dumb but like I got him at 20 pulls. I just updated the game and wanted to just use all my pulls and got him early. At least it wasnt On The toilet this time
I hope NetEase reduces the power of this teleport killer which is so strong compared to others Edit: Stunya is also too long, it's too strong, even a traper can be competed with this killer in stun
Not at all? If you make a slight misstep in your teleport and land opposite a window or pallet, survivors can recover before you can get over, a large difference compared to other stunners like Ann or Trapper/Gamekeeper.
@@yourself9997 the teleports are telegraph-able and can be avoided. And even then, the 30s cd is also there to punish the hunter for a bad teleport and limit the amount of teleports they can do to begin with. When you compare it to Ann’s cat cd of 20s, his teleport is 50% longer and less reliable than hers. Also if by oni girl you’re referring to geisha, that’s an even worse comparison as her dash cd is 8s, 22s shorter than hermit’s.
@@yesno7889 All of your conversations are true, maybe I just don't like this killer too much Thank you for replying to my opinion regarding this killer
I was wondering if he could use his electrical eyeball to transport from a cipher machine to others which are in his connecting zone and create a bigger magnet field after landing down next to the cipher... Welp, he would become scarier:D
Imma be honest, Hermit sharing damage is more of a nerf than buff In what case you need to hit 3 survivors at 0.3x ? Only because you accumulate up to 1.7x damage on three different survivors? Why not just 0.5x constantly
For me as Weeping Clown main, I think field is not so hard to dodge, you need just listen and look at him, also remember about one thing: If others survivors have the same charge, damage is share to others survivors so you can take 3 hits before first knockdown
@MechanicWonder gravekeeper, patient, toy merchant and acrobat are good counters. Worse are f Forward, Weepping Clown and Wilding but still you can counter Hermit as this characters, just don't wait so much to use Ball/Rocket etc., or just stun him, and then run.
@@pajonkmapper2481 first, you can just not connect the ciphers and use him like a normal 2 hit, Second, he slows down decoding progress by quite a lot after connecting the ciphers. Also when you are vaulting, you basically cannot doge, and his first presence with good aim basically cannot be doged in medium distances just because it travels so fast and it has a quite good hitbox
@@dddmn Damn, I hate them more when I play survivor lmao imagine running in endgame and you have no pallets But yeah when I play hunter I get mostly those players that drop 10 pallets within the first chase Bonus hate if the map it's hospital, I hate hospital.
can someone explain me how broken his sharing decode is bcs 13min and non dungeon I mean they did throw but that still mean his ciphercontrol is gud cuz u just need to lose 7s to connect and the game is actually slow already , not to mention decode debufff that harasser have ;)
He has just been released and he is a complex hunter, survivors are still finding out how he works so it’s too early to say anything. But yeah, one thing is for sure: he counters slow decoding teams hard.
