People see this - just look at the massive drop n fan attendance after Cailin's team was eliminated from the playoffs. You just know that this wasn't merely a publicity stunt for CC. What more publicity does one of her stature really need? Even if it was (I know in my heart that it was not!), then so what? She added to her very early legacy while changing the fortunes of a family that feared the worst. I know the feeling and it is probably the most stressful and near helpless and hopeless feeling that a person will ever endure. And probably one reason that suicide rates among men are at record highs over the past couple of years. CC may have even helped to prevent another tragedy for these folks. I cannot believe the hatred that followed CC, and continues today. I had a couple go arounds, prior to her even playing ONE minute, with normally kind and thoughtful people. It turned into pretty much what turasi was claiming. This aint college when I mentioned how she so gracefully rises up from deeeeep and fires those majestic shots that you just know are going in! She just spewed talent and heart very early on but I only saw video of her college days prior to this regular season. It was obvious to any casual observer that this one is very special; or so I thought. I sure do want her to be happy and to continue to accel in her chosen trade. My God this was just her first pro season and she's been the face and subject of the league before she even arrived at Indiana. So so unfortunate how others have handled CC's arrival. In the Men's game, I'm pretty sure that firstly none of this stupid and unprofessional nonsense would ever happen, and if there was any thought that one of your opponents was ever trying to harm one of your teammates, there would surly be some punches thrown. But, in reality, men know that intentionally harming another is verboten! They know that nobody wants to be the reason that someone's career is interrupted or worse. And that is what separates the men's game from the woke league of unprofessional and just embarrassingly immature players.
