POV: you wake up in the middle of nowhere, ( like the pic) but you don't remember anything. The flowers cradling you and the wind feels soft, but warm. You decide to stand up and walk. You are peacfuly walking for at least 2 mins until you see an abandoned piano playing on its own. There is vines and mos on it, and the sun is also shining on it. You have never been in an atmosphere so peaceful and butiful before. Hearing the water of a nearby pond, you decide to sit in a rock that was next to the piano. After 2 hours pass of listing to the piano you notice that your eyelids are slowly getting more heavy. You blacked out. But your eyes open one again but this time you are inside of your room. I was born in a small town in Russia and moved to the US when I was 7 years old. I started learning piano at age 8 I watched the American movie Anastasia and always had this silly idea that I was the lost Russian princess and belonged back in my home town. I played the song on the piano my whole life and the same feeling never went away. I always related so much to this type of *feeling* of music same as so many others in the comments. All the songs make you feel like you are in a fairytale...

This first song makes me think back to a few weeks after my grandfather died. He really liked sci-fi movies, shows, books, anything of that sort. My mom I think had gotten him a replica of something from one of the movies he liked. I don't know what it was from but it was a gray fuzzy looking dude. (remember this for later) My sister and I had a dollhouse that my grandfather and mom made together a very long time ago there that we used to play with when we went to my grand parents house. It was pink and had so many pretty things about it. It stood tall in a thick layer of dust and cobwebs giving off a strange forgotten sadness but its beauty always shone through. The designs on the glass in the windows and doors were beautiful. The way that the furniture was painted ever so delicately. The little dolls that were 20 years old, cracked but still smiling, stood happily as nothing had ever gone wrong. Outside of the windows were little flower pots. My grandma has a thing for drying flowers and making arrangements so she gave my mother a few when she was little to put into the pots. They stood there for many years as they had surpassed the inevitable, looking beautiful long after death. There were lavender petals, small rosebuds, along with the occasional baby's breath. The grey fuzzy looking dude I had mentioned earlier was kept in the dollhouse with the happy dolls. One day not long after my grandfather had passed, I went to the dollhouse. The gray fuzzy looking dude was sitting on the roof of the dollhouse holding a small piece of baby's breath. My little sister didn't do it, nor did my mother, grandmother, or anyone else that came over. I don't think I did it but I can't be sure. I wasn't getting much attention and I did crazy things sometimes to get the love/attention that I lacked. Well, it's not that I wasn't loved but having parents who lived on different sides of the country could be hard sometimes. So I might have done it but I really don't think that I did. I think my grandpa did it. Ugh, what did I just write lmaoo sorry if I made you sad I'm sad too :')

I have a dog that I'm very close with, he's like a little brother to me, he was diagnosed with lymphomatic cancer about two weeks ago. He has a week left to live and these songs bring back all the memories I've shared with him growing up. I love him to death and I'm going to miss him but at least I can say I gave him a good life

Perhaps Debussy’s music is the most fantastic and ethereal among all of these masterpieces. His music is a quiet and mysterious dream with warm memories. I can recall abundant things about my childhood which has been far away from nowadays when listening to Claire de Lune.

hi! Dont mind me, I’m just here to express my love for the wonderful piece, Claire De Lune. This is a piece that spoke to me, it shaped me to who i am. It is always with me whenever im stressed, when im having an episode, when im having the time of my life, or even when im trying to calm myself before bed. Before I pass away, i made a promise to myself that I will learn piano just to play this song for myself. This actually inspired me to stay a bit longer. Sure, it may seem like an unrealistic goal but it’s keeping me alive. Claire De Lune is my comfort piece, and i hope you find a piece that makes you feel like the way this piece makes me feel. :)

Okay not to be that person, but imagine one hundred years later and you are stuck in this little abandoned town in an invisible dome all by yourself. You stay in a big castle and one day you find out the outside people have found this town and followed the beautiful music to the castle to find you dead in the middle of the ballroom, while this playlist is surrounding the whole ballroom. You die because you knew they would take the beauty away from this place, so you go with all the beautiful memories and secrets of this place...never to be learned and heard of again.

Okay so I just played this while going for a walk and I felt magical asf , let me explain. For starters I was wearing a white laced skirt that went just below my knees, a black tank top, brown socks that went just above my black combat boots, and a burnt orange colored scarf that’s tied around my neck. My hair was back in a low pony with strands hanging out framing my face. I had a Van Gogh tote bag at my side and I was ready to set off. I was walking along a a wooded path next to a cliffs edge, it’s fall so it’s a little windy. Every so often a gust of wind would come blowing my hair and scarf majestically. I stop every now and then to look over the cliffs edge to see the vast trees below and the flowers growing just off the trail. I make it to the wooden stair case that leads to a pond and park and stand mysteriously over looking the leaf covered ponds with ducks swimming about. I arrive at the park. Leaves are flying everywhere, billowing in my wake. The sun is peaking through trees illuminating my face softly as I walk to find a spot under a tree. I get the my desired tree and lay down a burlap colored cotton weaved blanket and set my things down. I then proceed to meditate, journal, read tarot and oracle, and charge some crystals in the sun al while listening to this playlist. Suffice to say I felt like a fairy.

POV: You dance in an empty ballroom, the sound of your footsteps echoing as you move. The moonlight shines through the windows, and casts a faint light admist the dark ballroom. You can make out the glowing silhouette of a young girl, playing the dusty piano that has been left untouched for the past 5 years. As the grandfather clock strikes <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="720">12:00</a>, the ghost fades, and shadows seep into the ballroom once again.

The music is quite beautiful but there is something to it that makes me feel terrified of something like the world around me where there are still many things unknown. I also feel very nostalgic listening to these and imagining myself in the world of anime walking on my own under the falling blossoms of the cherry tree.

Your castle is a husk of the beautiful creature it used to be, just like you. Once overflowing with life, and excitement, but then the true element that is time drained you of it. Now you sit in the crumbling ball room in a dress that was once vibrant, now aged with time. Others could come to hear the silence and horror of the dying antiquity, but you, you hear the music that was once played on that old grande piano, you had personally played it once, felt the music move through you and into the souls of your guests. The sound fades in and out, just as you do, but soon you will slip into it's beauty and become one with the soul of the castle, the soul of the music.

The only thing I can imagine while hearing these songs is creepy stuff, I love it. I will definitely use this playlist when I need inspiration for my future stories!

Yes, this helps me sleep. But as an introvert that doesn't like to constantly talk about one's feeling to their friends all the time, when I write, it helps me organize my thoughts that I could fit on 1-3 whole pages to keep track.

claire de lune always makes me think though a scenario where you see your soulmate from across a room, maybe in passing, just briefly and this string of future memories flood through your mind. sweet moments of dancing together, kissing under the moonlight, talking long into the morning, but then in between moments of impatience. arguments and misunderstandings. you’re watching all of this unfold and see all the good with the bad. starting a family together and growing old when suddenly you’re broken away from that reality. that future won’t happen and it didn’t happen. it was just a beautiful possibility of love. just barely missing each other you turn away. heart breaking for a love that never happened.

I’m standing in the middle of a ballroom standing alone. I feel the eyes of people staring at me. But they’re all wearing masks, why are they wearing masks? I walk around slowly taking in the only things I can see on the standing strangers. I walk around them and stop in my original spot. I watch as they slowly start to waltz around me. I couldn’t see anyone, i didn’t know anyone. They all kept staring at me as they waltzed. The beautiful dresses flowing as they danced. The dead eyes with no emotion haunting me as they stared. They started making a path towards me. Why are they making a path? I watch as the path was pointing towards the door. The door opened slowly to reveal a tall man dressed in all black. His face covered by a shiny black doctors mask. (The old creepy ones that had the bird beaks) He started walking towards me slowly. My heart felt like it was beating out of my chest. I looked down and saw that I was wearing a pale periwinkle dress with pale green and pink lace and flowers embroidered on. I touched my hair and it was in a braided bun held together with roses. I touched my collar bone and felt a heavy necklace. I looked down and it was a necklace filled with emeralds. I was wearing white lacy gloves to match. I felt something on my head. I went up to touch it and it was a tiara. I looked back at the tall man walking over to me. He was nearly to me but i wanted to run. To fight. To get out. But I couldn’t. I was paralyzed with fear. He held out his hand. I took it with no hesitation. What was wrong with me? The music started and we slowly started waltzing to the music. For what seemed like an eternity the music stopped. Everyone came to a halt and stared at us. No emotion. We were in the middle of the ballroom and all I could hear was my heavy breathing and my heart beating out of my chest. I looked up at him and his mask had blood splattered on it. His clothes were turning red. <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="2684">44:44</a> He took my hand and squeezed it. I looked up into his dead eyes. His clothes and mask stained with blood. He let go of my hand and placed them on my neck. He squeezed. I looked around and saw no one flinch no one even tried to help. I clawed at his grip and it tightened even more. I looked around one last time. I looked back at him but something caught my eye. I was shiny and silver. It was a surgical scissor. I grabbed it and stabbed him. He let go and I fell to the ground gasping. I got up and ran. I ran towards the door. The people in the ballroom didn’t do anything they just stared as i frantically ran to the door as fast as I could. I swung it open. I stepped forward but the last thing I felt was the sharp pain of someone stabbing me in the back. They took out what they stabbed me with. I fell to the floor crawling away. But they stepped on my wound. They turned me around on my back. It was him the tall man. He took off his mask. To reveal no face. Nothing mur blood on it. No features at all. But one thing carved on it. “IT WAS ALL YOUR FAULT!” He was holding the surgical scissors i stabbed him with. The walls around me started dripping blood. He walked slowly towards me as I crawled away struggling. He stopped me and looked at me. The message carved on his faceless face looking right at me. Taunting me as i tried to get away. He grabbed me. I could feel the coolness of his fingers deep in and burn my skin. He forced me to look into the ballroom. I looked and saw that everyone was dead. He dragged me by the foot into the ballroom. All the bodies were limp and covered in blood. I looked at the walls and saw a huge message written in blood. “YOU DID THIS! ITS ALL YOUR FAULT! YOU WILL PAY!” I looked up at him struggling to breathe. He leaned down. And stabbed me in the chest three times. The last thing I saw was his message carved on his face. “ITS ALL YOUR FAULT!” I woke up in my bed panting in what seemed like a pool of my sweat. I sat up and I was in my room. It was all a dream. It was all a...dream... (I feel a deep connection to this kind of music and idk why!)

most people find this calming, but there is something deeply unsettling about this whole genre to me. the intense reverb gives each song a deep hollowness, like the soul or humanity has been ripped out of it. despite the romantic melodies, it feels cold and distant. plus that ever present white noise is like a pressure tube of ghostly wails. feels like realizing you're in a dream, but there's nothing you can do but stand and watch; helpless. fantastic work, will be drawing macabre art to it again

I can't help but get these sad and eerie vibes, especially from when you wish upon a star. I feel like I'm dying in a hospital bed and I can faintly pick up the scent of perfume my grandmother used to love, only to remember I haven't heard anyone pass by my room in hours and that my grandmother had been gone for 11 years.

I once had a dream which exactly felt like that. It's hard to describe, but the best possible way is probably, it was all pure beauty and happiness. I woke up on an Island and I looked like myself, but my hair was longer and I wore a peach colored dress. On my ears I had japanese blossom looking earrings. I was going to a temple, which was on a platform. The platform was on a mountain and the temple was in the mittle of this platform. There was water floating around it and falling down in a waterfalls down the mountain. I am still thinking about that dream from time to time and I also have memories from that dream as if I lived there. Idk if anyone is ever going to read this text, but if someone does. Trust me, it felt like a better world or alternative world, where everyone was allowed to be whoever they want to be and weren't forced to learn stuff for years they weren't even interested in. Ps: I hope this text was okay to read, my mother language isn't English

this kinda scared me for some reason :') i came looking for some music to ease my mind after binging horror stories but this instead added to my apprehension and made the think of all the poor souls who met a terrible end getting killed in the woods (i was listening to a submission read by Corpse Husband about this guy's experiences working as a search and rescue officer) the songs in this playlist are dreamy but in a slightly eerie way so i think i'll have to listen to BTS as usual lol and maybe come back to this later when i'm not so paranoid
