I am Japanese. I used to be this angry at Grand Theft Auto, but now that I'm 46, I don't have that kind of energy. More than that, I'm worried about the price of the controller I broke in anger, and I'm not angry. If it doesn't work, it will silently return to the home screen.
I love how people take their anger out on their equipment when it’s clearly their fault or the way the game was designed just don’t play it for awhile then come back to it that’s my opinion anyway
when you actually want to get better or are too deep into it taking a break just isn't in the question. Probably hard to understand if you've never been in that state but it's also hard to explain

Even still, the most I do is get mad and curse at the game but I never break my controllers or my TV/Monitors. I just find it hella funny that people will go over the top for the smallest shit. There was a clip I saw where the dude didn't even die. Someone just stole his kill or something like that and he just got up from his desk and started screaming. Like that shit is so random 🤣🤣🤣
Casual gamers will never understand. I'm not gonna rage and break my stuff because I've spent over 10K over the last 4 years building and upgrading my rig, but I have also not had the time to game like I did when I was a teen over a decade ago soooo....
When you can't deal with the consequences of your own behavior, you know it's time to start appreciating the consequences of someone else's behavior. Walk away, and start enjoying someone else's frustration. It's EXTREMELY therapeutic.
I'll admit that I've occasionally gotten angry or frustrated when playing video games, but not to the point of smashing anything. Moreover, I've sort of stepped off the video game train in favor of another hobby (model railroading) as I've gotten older, and am well aware that intentionally breaking items would only be a waste of money and effort.
It was hard at the beginning but after understanding the mechanics and stuff I've beaten the game 3 times and plat all in under 100 hours, currently sitting on 130 hours

I was born in 87. Was given the original Nintendo for one of my birthdays. Played and owned every major platform since. Now on PC. I’ve never had the need (no matter the game) to act like this. Insane.
These people need some actual help. I've been playing since the SNES Era and never had these issues. Sure I got ticked off or irritated some times when I was a teen, but then I just did something else.

The best way I can describe gamer rage, is that you are concentrating hard on winning. But then when you lose, all of that focus and energy is released, usually as rage.
@@krustykrabpizza4328 ,The problem is that in singleplayer games you need to respect the difficulty settings of the game especially on boss fights,some games like jumping here,jumping that,falling down it's a hit and miss,and in fps games you need to accept the player that killed you is better than you and someone else is better than him,you never going to be as good as you think you are,it's just a goddamn game.

I envy you man for years back when I played cod I broke probably $500 worth of controllers/monitor/headset. Better now but I still regret all the rage. I also do not understand raging over a game like fall guys tho 😂
"Nowadays"? People have been raging like this since the dawn of the arcade machine. Twitch just wasn't around to capture it all and bundle it up nicely for our amusement.
@@Warrior_Culture I've been well aware of the phenomena for, oh, about the last 37 years or so. xD But yes, Twitch and other video hosting/streaming forums and sites that came before it have increasingly made it easier and more public. Not complaining at all, because it IS amusing. Just not something I'd ever see myself, even as a lifelong gamer, doing. :)

@@Warrior_Culture This is true. There was a guy who used to beat the shit out of the Dragon's Lair machine at the local arcade. He got thrown out a bunch of times, then eventually trespassed. Those machines were built tough to withstand the hysterical flailing of angry man-children.
I've done this before. I was in trouble for it, and I learned. I only raged during a middle school 6th grade lesson during the pandemic. I didn't do online school, but I just did what my mom assigned me to do. When I did IXL, I tried to get the questions right, but they claim I was wrong. One of them, I had it! I hit my PC with something, and yep. I messed up. I need a therapist from thinking about it.
I wonder do they have like several back up gaming gears stored in their room, I'd be annoying having to wait for new gear to arrive before able to play again every single time🤣

So glad I only rage by flipping off my tv and just accept defeat. Never broke a controller or bash any equipment. Just a simple flip of the bird towards my TV and just move on. Two birds if it’s a Soulsborne game.
Ive only really raged hard a few times but it was never to these levels. The hardest rage ive had was doing the infinite warfare zombies super Easter egg. Dieing to meph like 20 times in a row triggered me and i repeatedly punched my leg very hard. Granted it was justified because that ee is ridiculously difficult and takes like 2hrs per attempt while dealing with box rng. Then sister freide in ds3 on my first blind playthrough slapped my garbage build soo hard my ancestors still feel it. Ds2 was fume knight constantly slapping me but that wasnt as annoying as sister. Besides that if i get irritated ill just keep going. If i get really irritated i may talk trash or something.
I don't know about you all, but the fact that a lot of these gamers in different countries shouting out in different languages when they get their gamer rage on is too funny!!!! 😆😅🤣😂
These people are hard to watch even as just a highlight reel. I'm mean, holy shit, they're losing their minds over losing a game, or getting inconvenienced by one, and destroying their stuff. Seriously, this stuff isn't cheap and their just hulking out on their set ups. 50 to potentially thousands of dollars down the drain because you lost.
it was a competitive match from the spectator's point of view, the silhouette of the players are only visible to the viewers and commentators, the real players can't see them.
funny how it's always the same games that bring the same trashes together well at least these games are usefull at filtering healthy players from those who obviously need to consult a doc.
