I think my algorithm caught on to me watching long form videos on subjects I like to fall asleep to and here goes a specific video for.. you knowww sometimes the algorithm is my friend. The video is super interesting though, so it’s after 1am, coming out of Juneteenth, celebrating virtually with Kendrick Lamar and I’m about to probably watch this whole Pixar situation.

The ratatouille review was so refreshingly amusing. Such an original viewpoint, told with a touch of dramatic flair that perfectly highlights and feeling of ratatouille. Makes me want to rewatch the movie for the hundredth time.

I saw toy story 4 in the theater Right after leaving a job I had worked for 12 years. It seemed to speak right to me, saying that it was okay to leave a place that I no longer belonged in. For that alone, I found great comfort

The soundtrack by Thomas Newman for Elemental reminds me of most James Horner soundtracks like The Amazing Spider-Man, Avatar, and Titanic for the most part which would make me feel relaxed

'why they need gas and sleep' I personally think they intended for gas/fuel being food and sleep is rest. Also when we stop driving (to sleep, shop, rest, etc) if cars were living technically they'd be asleep to

No matter what anyone says, I will forever be a Toy Story 4 hater. Toy Story 1 and 3 are my two favorite movies of all time, and Toy Story 2 is my 22nd. I was so excited to finally see a Toy Story movie in the theater, rewatched the first three movies in the days leading up, slept with my Woody and Buzz the night before and brought them to the theater with me, and I just hated the movie. I cried for 15 minutes straight out of sheer disappointment citing random quotes from the first three movies that they decided to go against, for example “I’ll have ole Buzz Lightyear by my side, for infinity and beyond.” I understand that the movie can be interpreted positively, but my experience was so awful and I personally think it fails to elevate on the themes loyalty, with Toy Story 3 showing what it means to be loyal, and to let go, I felt the movie was just so unecessary and can’t help but hate it forever.

John Lasseter isn't disgraced. He got fired at the peak of the "me too" movement simply for hugging people longer than they wanted. Dude wasn't running around sleeping with his employees.
