You're welcome!! I was wondering, do you have any tips or advice you would give someone who's just beginning to become a composer? I've tried making some game music in the past but I'm very new at the whole process so I was just kinda curious how you get into the mindset of each new song to know what you want to create, if you don't mind me asking? =)
I don't mind at all! I think my process is a bit different than most. 90% of the time I don't have a plan, I just fool around playing piano and then record whatever sounds good. When I've done that I just arrange it in a way I find pleasing and continue like that until the song is done. I usually get inspired by a book I'm reading or a movie but I don't really write with a goal in mind, I just let what ever happens happen. I tend to write mostly past midnight, my brain just doesn't seem to work until I get really tired and stop caring about stressful things and other work. I guess what I'm trying to say is that you need to be relaxed and not feel any pressure to make something good.
That totally makes sense! That's a huge thing for me too is just thinking of too many different things like you said, and putting far too much pressure on my brain to think of something, then it kind of works against me and stops any creative juices that may be trying to flow. Your music has actually been a huge source of help and inspiration to me because it's so peaceful and beautiful and it kind of helps my mind relax and be able to think a bit more clearly. I guess one of my biggest hurdles right now is that I tend to get overwhelmed so quickly because there's so much I want to do and I don't really know how to do it or create it yet. Haha. But I'll start playing around with some things and see what comes out like you said! I'll have to start looking at it as a fun thing rather than a project and change my mindset a bit and just start enjoying the whole process. =) Thank you so much for your reply!! I would love a follower Bard mod in Skyrim that follows and just plays Vindsvept music. Even make him look like the RU-vid profile picture. So basically an Althmer or Bosmer.
This is beautiful I found your music from my favorite Asmr artist and now I have it playing all the time my dog listens to it when I’m not home cuz she is anxious and the music drowns out apartment noise
I played Skyrim with a mod that would replace the base game OST by a lot of your tracks. I listen to this every now and then and it makes me feel super nostalgic.
@@biologicalintelligence9831 honestly I don’t even remember, but hey now I didn’t go to college went for a certificate, now I make $28 hr and I’m starting to invest :).
@@biologicalintelligence9831 well with relationship, don’t have kids yet, until your stable enough. Finding the right person at a young age who has a long term goal instead of parties is hard to come by so I wouldn’t get into a relationship early on. As far as investment it’s when you have no debt and your money is yours to spend. I rent a room from someone and pay 500 a month while I save. I have a car that’s paid off and intend to keep it that way it’s nothing fancy it’s old but it gets the job done. I did a technical school because I knew I could get this job for it quick and I could save much more. But going through college if you know what your going in for and stick to it you have more potential. I’m here to learn how to make money( not greedy) but to know how to handle money and make more money. You can’t have a small town mindset either for most people it’s about their cars. That’ll keep them there forever. Pace yourself for a 5 year goal too that helped me good luck :) I’m still starting out
@@biologicalintelligence9831 as far as advice man, I realized something you can watch motivational videos hear people give speeches give advice, listen to Ted talks whatever but I don’t care about them because they make you feel good for a second. You gotta really know yourself and where you want to go to be successful so those videos don’t matter That’s why I’m confident in telling you about a place I’m not at because I know I’ll make it there but it’ll take some time
