Hi all, after a splendid night in the beautiful city of Berlin I thought why not visit the airports observation deck, which is infact the roof of the airport! How amazing that is, it was quite a large area, but offered amazing views across Tegel Airport. Only costing 3 euros for entry, this was definitely a great place to visit!
If only the weather would have been great as well, then this would have been a brilliant visit, however the clouds were quite low and grey. After about an hour the sun did make its way out and made for some great afternoon lighting. There were plenty of movements about at Tegel too. One thing I noticed particularly was the amount of Easyjet aircraft since Air Berlin went under about a year ago! This time last year there were only a few Easyjet routes at Tegel but now there's loads of them, they were everywhere.
Other interesting movements included the Qatar 777, MIAT Mongolian 737, Air Baltic A220 (CS300), UTair 737-500, Swiss CS300, Royal Jordanian A320, S7 Airlines A319, Turkish Airlines A321 and 737, Star Air 767-200F. There were many many more movements as well, as I said quite a bit of variety here, loads of different airlines
